If you look at the vial of your Testosteone or the box it will say 200 mgs/ml.

this means to do a 100 mg. shot you only need .5 mls or .5 cc's both are the

same = to each other.

As for needles I by 27g. 1ml.x 1/2 " lg. needles with the body or I buy mine froi

Amazon.com called BD Tuberculin Syringe cost for 100 is about $23.00.

Ok. Thanks

I was going to get 23 gauge 1.5 inch from spotinjections.com recommendations but

I will go with a smaller needle 25 gauge so I don't have to buy 2 different

sizes for the glute and thigh. Is using 25 gauge for the thigh ok?

*What size needle do I need?

The smaller the gauge the larger the needle.

22 or 23 Gauge, 1.5 Inch is ideal for injections into the glutes.

25 Gauge, 1.0 inch is ideal for injections into the quads and can be used for

all spot injections.

25 Gauge, 5/8 inch is often used for tricep/bicep/delts

So I just went to the pharmacy to get a syringe and needle to take my first test

cyp injection ever.

It's 8pm right now. Is it too late in the night to take it or does it not really

matter?

I give DH his butt injections after dinner, after work every 5 days. He uses a

1 ml, 25g, 1 " needle. You need the product # to have your pharmacy order it.

We were using 3 ml syringes before, this is SO much better!

suggests? There were instructions to store my hcg in the fridge, but nothing for

Thanks for the replay . Are you sure I don't store test in the fridge? This

I don't know why that person I linked below would say to store my test in the

fridge when several websites say:

vial may be warmed by rolling it in your hands to dissolve crystals if they form

I stored it in the fridge for about 2 hours. I took it out but hope I didnt do

any to jeopordize the potency of it.

It said specific on the bottle store between certain room temperature.

Now HCG you can freeze with not problem. Cold can cause potency in the medicine

to decrease significantly.

I 'store' mine at room temp in a kichen cabinet. No problems ever... Don't

forget to aspirate. If you have hit a vein you WILL know it as it will enter

into the syringe easily. If you inject in upper, outer thigh or butt the

chances are slim but it could happen. If it does, just pick another spot. I

inject in the AM but I'm not sure the time of day matters much. HCG in fridge,

yes. That's my .02 W

unless you are using a big ass needle it is unlikely to hit a vein. I love it

when i hit a blood vessel and it spurts across the room when my girlfriend is

around. i shot every 3.5 days.

Thanks for all the replies.

I shot myself for the first time this morning. It sure was an event. I used a

1cc 25g x 1 " into the glute. I looked into the bathroom mirror to do it. It was

very challenging aspirating it and then injecting. The needle moved around a lot

so I'll probably be sore pretty soon. I think I'll try laying on my side on the

bed next time to get better leverage. The thigh will be much easier. I plan on

doing each glute and then each thigh and rotating around.

What do most you do to in regards to shooting?

Do you use the same barrel/plunger and change out the needle each time or do you

purchase disposable syringes with needle and toss the whole thing?

I can't tell you how it means to have you guys/gals to confide in and know that

I'm not alone in all this. Thank you so much.

It is pretty overwhelming to know that my

- test is low (latest urine tested 30 45-85)

- DHEA is off the charts low (4.7 urine up to 1500)

- vit D is low (24 32-100)

- WBC is low (3.8 4-10.5)

- Glucose is pre-diabetic at 104

- LDL's are high 175

- Total Cholesterol is high 248

- Recently diagnosed with adrenal fatigue as the kicker.

I knew there was a reason I felt like crap all the time, but I never could have

anticipated all this.

It's gotten so bad that I've moved back to my parents house temporarily. No one

should have to deal with the moodiness and stress I've caused my girlfriend. And

the stress of living with her preteen daughter has become unbearable. So for the

betterment of everyone I had to leave.

I hope to get better soon with my docs guidance and people like you who care so

much about others.

I go for the upper outside quadrant of the glute. I go in at an angle from

the side. Just a few times practicing, and it is easy now. I don't feel it

at all. I must admit that I don't aspirate, as the odds of hitting a blood

vessel where I inject is very low.

That is a link to a military training video. I do it in the upper outer

quadrant of the glute as shown. They also cover shoulder and thigh.

When I was on injections - for 35 years, if I had to do it myself, I would roll

over on my side, and inject as far back as possible in my right butt cheek. When

I had someone else do it, I usually stood and they did it. Alternating cheeks

from one time to the next.

Yes - do purchase disposable syringes. Get as large a needle as you can stand. I

used a 23 guage, and 1 5/8 " long. Use once, and place in a container to dispose

of. Today's rules say you are to state that it contains " sharps. "

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Can you tell what the advantage of using

a larger needle is?

I just got back from the gym. 30 minutes of resistance training. 20 minutes of

interval cardio and 30 minutes yoga. It really helped take the edge off and has

given me a sense of calm that I don't get often.

I go with 25g*1 " for the actual injection regardless of where (I do thighs...

wife COULD do glutes for me but I'd rather do these myself... it's not like I

don't trust her, she's given thousands of shots (1st husband (she's a widow) was

a diabetic who didn't like giving himself the subcutaneous insulin)... and I've

shown her how to do a pain injection (an IM) for me if I'm in such bad pain I

can't give it to myself (sciatica " jolts " can make your hands a bit unsteady).

but the 25g needle is just smaller and doesn't hurt/bleed as much.

if you're like me and want a SHARP point to stick yourself (not one that's been

oh so slightly dulled going into the vial... some vials are worse than others...

I HATE the hucog hcg vials where you have to hit -exactly- at the center)

but anyway http://www.getpinz.com/ does a package deal where you can order your

syringes w/needle and an equal number of separate needles in the same or

different size (at a slight discount and including a box of alcohol wipes)... so

you can draw with like a 22g so it'll draw FAST then swap to a new sterile

smaller needle for the actual stick.... they sell various insulin syringes for

like HCG too.

though I've got a source for insulin syringes that's cheaper than walmart! (just

a little... no sales tax)

Hi

The advantage of a larger needle is that it draws up depo T easier as it is

arealy thick substance.. The best is undeniable that the needle goes in deeper

and that is what you want.Deep into the muscle. I injected into my top leg once

too shallow and had a very bad time for 4 days.Hurted like hell.

Now my wife does the shot into my left upper butt and following one into right

butt the next week.

i use a 23 G needle but do not have any fat there so it goes in deep enough. If

you have fat on the butt area you have to have a needle that passes the fat on

the outside en goes into the muscle tissue underneath.

I would say about 1 and a half inch into muscle.
