Phil, Barb, Bill and all others... Some interesting new topic were going on and

I am glad that I am learning a lot.

Now I would like to know if " Jump Starting the pituitary " is real and does it

help ? If so at what age will it help ?

Barb, my back pain in the left shoulder blade has returned and I am just

continuing NattoKinase. Dont know what this pain is about but I will just wait

and see.

Thank You

Joe

IDK. But do you even know you're hypopituitary? I thought you had TSH, LH, and

FSH. Were you ever hit in the head?

Joe, IIRC, you stopped the natto cause the pain went away, and then it came

back? If it really is a clot-type thing, I've heard it can take two years to go

away on the natto. Hubby's still on it, cause I'm scared to take him off.

Barb,

I never had serious head injuries except small things in childhood.

In 2006 during my anual physicals my doc told me that my TSH is 5.0 and he said

I better get tested again and go to an ENDo. So I went to an endo and he told me

to wait and see with blood tests every six months. The first test after six

months showed normal TSH so my ENDO wanted to do another test after six months

again. The next test showed an elevated TSH. So he put me on Synthroid 50mcg in

mid 2008. With in six months after starting my Synthoroid, I started feeling low

libido and so went back to my Endo and he tested my T levels and they were about

327. The next month he tested and its 271. And my LH & FSH are also low. No

Tumor on MRI. So he told me that I need to start on T and put me on patches

which did not work and then gels and troches which did not work either. Finally

I have to start shots and its been about an year that I am on TC shots. 40

-50mgs /week and HCG as per Phil and I take DIM and Zinc to keep my E2 low.

Recently on one of our discussions on this form, I realized that there is

something called jumpstarting the pituitary (if you remember). I am planning to

contact Dr. on this. Also, I have started Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and

it looks like it takes a long time with this.

Now I am on 100mcg Synthroid, 40 -50 mgs TC/week, 250 iu of HCG.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

Joe

Well if you had a TSH of 5, that showed it was working. Maybe you went hypo on

the Synthroid (undermedicated) and this caused the drop in testosterone. Really

can't say.

Re any experimental procedures. I always say give something a chance, but put a

cap on it, $-wise or time-wise. Meaning if you see no improvement after 6

months or $1000, for example. Set whatever time frame and $ limit you can

afford. It's hard to tell what is a scam and what isn't.

Joe,

Men that try to jump start there Pituitary do so because they ended up with low

T due to doing Steroids or were put in TRT then found out the problem was due to

an infection, High Iron levels, a fatty liver and even over doing it on diet and

working out. Once they fix this they try a jump start to get off TRT and pray

there brain kicks in again.

I don't know to many men that did this with success the ones that did did it

seeing Dr. he is good at this if your going to try this. You just don't

find a recipe for this on the web and try it you can get dam sick stopping TRT

and trying this on your own or with a Dr. not up on doing this.

My friend Hardasnails works with Dr. O they are in the Database section. Hard

told me many times he as help men with Dr. O to treat there Thyroid and found

there Testosterone levels came back up. But them men were not all that low

above 450.

He is good at this with Dr. O it is true men with a bad Thyroid and Adrenals get

them supports there Testosterone levels will come back up. Dr. M feels one

needs to treat this first before trying TRT.

I must tell you I have yet to see this happen but others say it worked I have

never talked to a man that did this.
