Guest guest
So far all is looking up you can stay on Synthroid and adding some T3 this is what my wife now does because she can't get Armour and it's working good so far. Start adding in 25mcgs of Cytomel 2x's a day maybe working your way up to 3x's a day this only lasts 7 hrs. The blood Dr. is a good Idea I seen one yrs. ago but he was out to lunch he forgot to tell me no Iron pills 5 days before doing labs so to him my labs looked good. Guest guest
Joe your dr needs to look at other factors to why TRT is not working such as thyroid and adrenal function which is imparative has to be balanced to complete the total picture. You may have other factors that have not been ruled out. Please contact me before you give up because there may be something else the traditional drs are missing that is being over looked. > > > From: noonanjg <jgnoonan@...> > > Subject: Going off TRT > > > > Date: Tuesday, March 30, 2010, 7:33 PM > > Went to a new doctor today. > > Even though TRT raised my testosterone from 170 to 607 > > (before shot), all the other side effects from TRT really > > don't make it worth continuing. Guest guest
It can be do to multiple reason infection, or taking iron supplements too much. Or it could also be a rare case of hidden hemochromotasis which should be further investigated by a hemotologist. > > > > > > > > > > > > You need good ferritin for the thyroid > > hormone to get > > > > > to the cells.
