Guest guest
Hi Barb, I got Preg. cream by accident and was on it 2 weeks before I seen it was not Preg. cream. It's Life-Flo 20 mgs. I was feeling so much better on it thinking it's the Preg. cream I posted about it at Dr. 's and one of the guys asked where I got the Life-Flo Preg. cream I posted a link and he posted back to me it's Prog. cream. Well let me tell you this stuff Dr. was saying about it's use might be right but so far I don't see it I feel great and all I think about is sex and even dream abou it. Last night with my wife I lasted over an hour before using this Prog. cream the best I could do to keep it up was about 20 min.s. On he Preg. cream my labs were 77 up from near the bottom but my Prog. levels were <0.5 top of range is <1.4 I am told I am very low. So I am going to use this up I have a good 6 weeks left then I am going to do labs and see how things look. I am told it's not good to do Preg. and Prog. cream at the same time. I was thinking try it every other day but I am told not to do this to use one or the other. So for now I am going with the Prog. cream. My God I feel like I was 20 again and I put it on in the morning. Guest guest
Well chilln at Dr. 's forum told me to try taking 5mgs of HC at bedtime to see if this slows down the conversion of T into E2 and it worked I went from taking 1mgs / day of arimidex to .25mgs. Guest guest
Well if this is all your worried about for get it. I have been on this drug for over 7 yrs and I am not alone my Drug Store told me 7 yrs ago he sells this to more men then women. And it's not a Cancer drug it block Estradiol in people and it is said high levels of Estradiol is not good for anyone that has or had cancer. It dose not treat cancer it just blocks the body from making Estradiol and it only blocks about 50% of it. It is said today high levels of Estradiol is the cause of some Prostate Cancer. Guest guest
Hi cvictorg, I have been on Arimidex for about 1.5 years and have had no problems. My doctor is also on Arimidex and has been for quite a while and he said that he knows of nothing to say that it is not safe for long term use. Arimidex is approved by the FDA to help fight breast cancer, but it is not a “anti-cancer” drug per-se. Breast cancer can be caused by and will continue to grow in women who have high levels of estrogen. Arimidex inhibits the activity of the Aromatase enzyme. Aromatase enzymes convert Testosterone into Estrogen. Because Arimidex lowers the level of Estrogen in the body, it takes away the “food” that the breast cancer uses to keep growing. In men, we use Arimidex for the same purpose – it helps to prevent testosterone from converting into estrogen. Yes, there are some possible side effects if you take too much and get your estradiol levels too low. For me, I get bad ED, sore joints, and some muscle pain. If you keep your estradiol levels too low for too long, you can end up with some bone loss. However, the most important thing to consider (in my mind) is the long term effects of high estradiols. You can end up with cardiovascular problems, blood pressure problems, ED, prostate problems (including an increased risk of the nasty form of prostate cancer), increased inflammation, etc. Here is a really good article that talks about the effects of high estrogen levels in men: http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2008/nov2008_Dangers-of-Excess-Estrogen-in-th e-Aging-Male_01.htm From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of cvictorg Sent: Saturday, November 27, 2010 3:24 PM Subject: Re: Can progesterone be used to lower estradiol levels in men? My last labtest from Lab Corp shows an estradiol level of 38 - my doc wants it between 20-25 BUT the idea of taking an anti-cancer drug to do this concerns me.
