I have been on my horse about them doing this to me at Medco so my Dr. called

them because I can't get 1 ml. out of the small vial so now they send me 36

vials for a 90 day supply. Talk about wasting money.

Yes Barb,

CVS did the same thing to me. Apparently my regular pharmacy, Win Dixie

couldn't get any that's why they sent me over to CVS. Brett

I was going to call Winn-Dixie, but glad I didn't bother then!

Apparently the problem is nationwide.

In august CVS filled mine with 10 1ml vials.

Last month I was able to get it in 1 10ml vial. It was name brand (Pfizer) and

only had to pay $2 more on my plan.

I called tonight to see if they had the 10ml in stock, they didnt.

I was using Kroger pharmacy before and they couldnt tell me a date when they

would have any in.

I guess its hit or miss whether you can get the 10ml now

All the drug care plains are doing this only sending 1 ml. vials. After talking

to many reps I can't get a good reasion for this. They all want us to take

generic meds to save money then they do crap like this.

Barb,

I checked with the Ocala, FL, Sam's Club today they had (4) 10ml bottles

on the shelf. So maybe you can check your local Sam's Club.

The Winn-Dixie I was dealing with was a small one out here in " the

Forest " so just because they didn't have any, I don't think that is

representative of all Winn- Dixie's but they weren't able to get it from

their warehouse so they just sent me next door to CVS because they had one

on the shelf. That was several months ago. Now apparently all CVS could

get was the 1ml bottles. I just got a new script from my Dr today so I will

call around when it's time to get it filled and see who has the 10ml.

Thanks for the info Brett. DH won't even run out of his current 10-ml vial for

about a month, but thought I'd refill it now, since I went through this with the

Armour Thyroid shortage. Gotta give yourself a month's lead time!

Barb,

I wish my insurance would let me get a refill ahead so I would have it

before the other is running out. Last one was completely out and I got the

new one just the evening before my shot. Then I start getting nervous.
