Guest guest
Hard wrote this to me a short while ago: " DO you also have enlarge prostate issues? If so I know why Looking at these labs there is a simple remedy to help put your body back into balance. depending on how old you are one could even avoid TRT because with these profiles it may not be necessary. If you are over 30 then forget it, but it around there it may be considered. Now wonder you feeling like crap you are iron deficient, b-12, folate,b-6 deficeint EFA (main nutrients for building testosterone are out of balance) I would suspect elevated nitric oxide levels from potential underlying infections. The reason I know this as I have been through the same issues with identical testing results. Also your supplements are conflicting (look at the ratio of zinc:copper !!) They are way out of balance!!I would suspect fat malaborption that may be occuring (look at your vitamin E, D, A) no wonder you have potential or insulin imbalance as well as thyroid issue ft3 is pooling due to low ferritin. This is why these test should be ran first because in my clincal experience you could have potentially avoided TRT completely with a greater then 70-80% probablity if age <35 was on your side. " My Vitami E is always in the top range, taking 400 iu Vitamin E daily. My D3 goes up and down, depending if it's summertime or not. I take 2000 iu in the summer, bringing D3 up above top range (180, don't remember the measurement method) but now in the wintertime it's down to like 60-70s. I have increased D3 intake to 3000 iu daily. Which might not be enough but I don't want to overdo it and get calcium problems. My A is an issue because on every sample I do in Norway it seems fine, but every time I measure it in Belgium (when I ship my blood with DHL) it comes out in the low range or just below it. WEIRD. Why is this? Why do you say I am Folate and B6 deficient when I have super-high Folate levels, and also my Vitamin B6 result wasn't even done when I posted my results. I just got my B's results and here they are: As per 18th of December 2010: Vit B6: 697 nmol/l (88-456 nmol/l) Vit B2: 395 nmol/l (ref 175-475 nmol/l) Vit C : in process Looks like I am well above top range for B6. What does that mean, and is it OK to be that high in B6? I am taking 2 x Labs " Stress-Plex " daily as per Hertoghes request. He wanted to lower my cholesterol that way, but doubling my B-Complex intake. I am still taking 30 mg Zinc Citrate daily and have been doing so for 18 months. My own knowledge tells me I need to start taking 2 mg Copper daily, as well as 4-10 mg Manganese daily, to improve iron absorption, cause my iron panel is low: Iron Panel as per 26th of January 2011: Ferritin 45 (30 - 250 mg/L) Iron 12.0 (9.0 - 34.0 mmol/L) Transferrin 2.3 (2.0 - 4.0 g/L) Transferrin Saturation 21 (15 - 57%) Transferrin Receptor 2.3 (2.0 - 5.0 mg/L) TIBC 59 (49 - 83 umol/L) Sub-optimal Ferritin is a fact, it's even lower now than it was in December on Hertoghes test. So, either I need to start taking iron AND/OR take Copper and Manganese. Am I correct? You also say I may have " elevated nitric oxide " - Please do explain further? How is this tested? Micro-CRP did show up as elevated. Could these two correlate? Oh yeah, and I am 32 btw. I turned 32 in November 2010. I always had amazing sex-drive, great ejaculate volume and also powerful ejaculations. I could " shoot " 8-10 feet a few years ago. I even measured it! LOL. Now it just " oozes " down from the tip. :-( This is low FSH doing this to me right? From being on TRT? I hate TRT thus far. Maybe Arimidex will fix everything? Looking at my latest hormone panel again, from the 17th of January 2011: S-DHEA 11.6 (6.0 - 18.0 nmol/l) - Ok I guess? S-Dihydrotestosterone: Not yet complete S-Free Testosterone Index: 11.6 (3.0 - 14.7) - One question: Before all hormone replacements, except Thyroid which I have been on for many years, this was always in the top range. It only fell lower than top range after I started TRT. Weird? Free Testosterone Index (FTI) is measured: Testosterone (nmol/l) x 10/SHBG (nmol/l) = FTI. S-FSH: 1.2 (1 - 12 IE/l) - This is why I have low ejaculate volume and weak ejaculates? S-Progesterone: 1.3 (<3.0 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 20 (8 - 60 nmol/l) S-Testosterone: 23.1 (8.0 - 35.0 nmol/l) - Decent but not optimal yet? Hertoghe wants it to be high range! S-Estradiol: 0.15* (0.06 - 0.14 nmol/l) - Too high right? Is this final proof I _need_ to take Arimidex? Or will stopping DHEA lower E2? I know stopping TRT will lower E2. Maybe it's the DHEA converting my T into E2??? And my latest Thyroid panel + serum electrolytes: FT4 11.9 (9.0 - 21.0 pmol/l) - Not very high... FT3 4.6 (3.5 - 7.0 pmol/l) - I think this fell after I took more HC: 35->40 mg HC daily. Thus pushing more T3 into my cells leaving FT3 lower right? Solution: Take more HC _AND_ Thyroid? TSH 0.45 (0.2 - 4.5 mE/L) Potassium 3.7 (3.6 - 4.6 mmol/l) - Isn't this too low? Maybe it fell after increasing HC from 35 to 40 mg daily? Do I need Potassium supplements? Sodium 139 (137 - 145 mmol/l) - A tad low? Calcium 2.30 (2.15 - 2.51 mmol/l) - I get about 600 mg Calcium daily in my compounded capsules, and in my Vitamin C tablets. + What's in meat and vegetables, cheese etc. Chloride 100 (100 - 110 mmol/l) - THIS IS ALWAYS LOW. WHY? LOW STOMACH ACID? Phosphorus 1.22 (0.75 - 1.65 mmol/l) Creatinine 87 (60 - 105 nmol/l) - Kidneys seem ok. I am looking for balance. I am trying to do " things " in my life - But no matter what I do, I am CONSTANTLY reminded my health is NOT OPTIMAL, thus sending me on this mission to try to figure out which improvements I can make to bring my whole health up up up up up UP!!!!!!! I hope you understand me guys. Btw: I haven't had a sexlife since 2007, before my whole health crashed in January 2008. THAT'S killing me mentally too...... Guest guest
You are not converting its a no brainer. b-6 also rises in dysbiosis. > > Hard wrote this to me a short while ago: > > " DO you also have enlarge prostate issues?
