Guest guest
Hi Chuck and Welcome, First thing if your doing HCG only 300 IU's /day is a lot most do 60 to 100 IU's per day. If your dehydrated when you do your labs your levels will be high. Make sure you drink enough water everyday and before your labs. Guest guest
There are several things to watch out for: a) I was doing 150 IU/day, every day. At first my T and free T were up - 760 and 27. Then they dropped. Your testes get " tired " of the HCG. I quit for a month and now am doing 100 IU Monday, Wednesday and Friday. After a month, TT up over 750 and FT 22.5. We will see how it plays out. (also take .5mg 10% testosterone cream per day) your hemo count will go up. I usually give blood to get rid of iron. Usually I do what they call " doublered " - twice the red cells - they have a machine that returns some serum. Couldn't do it - the machine is rated only to hemo count of <18.3 mine was 18.7. Gave whole blood instead. Will see in two months if the hemo count is down. > > I've been doing HCG the last 8 months for low T. 300 iu/day and my T is up to 780. Guest guest
The other thing to check for is complete iron panel. I have hemochromatosis (iron overload) I had high levels like that too. That is what your body makes red blood cells from is iron. So if your iron is high, your red blood cell and hemocrit could be too. > > > > I've been doing HCG the last 8 months for low T. 300 iu/day and my T is up to 780. Guest guest
Donate blood to the Red Cross every 2 months. This will thin your blood & maybe save a life. Win-Win. > > I've been doing HCG the last 8 months for low T. 300 iu/day and my T is up to 780. Lately my hemoglobin and democrat have risen to 19.1 and 55.3. Any ways to lower this? Guest guest
If your H/H is high then dehydration from lack of water before the test or from cortical steroids, sleep apnea, may be at the root cause. > > > > > > > The other thing to check for is complete iron panel. Guest guest
Do not donate that often unless you want to end up hypothyroid with anemia. Here's why: http://tiredthyroid.com/mens-hormones.html Barb > > > > > > I've been doing HCG the last 8 months for low T. 300 iu/day and my T is up to 780. Guest guest
Taking iron will reduce how fast the ferritin falls. But if it falls below 50, and it will if you continue to donate, you will just be creating another health problem. DH's ferritin was 174, which according to some anti-iron nuts, is too high. So when the blood bank was doing a 4th of July special and handing out gift certificates, we went in. They talked him into a double RBC and he spent the rest of the weekend in his recliner with major fatigue. His next labs were done in Oct and his ferritin was 27. I can't imagine how low it was in July after the donation. It took him months to get his energy back. Once a year is it for him now.
