Diane dust your butt off and start fighting..Drs can't tellyou that you are going to die my girl..Yu are sick that is true but you still have alot of fight in you and we are here to fight with you and give you that shove you need..I am praying for you Diane..U R always in my thoughts.I love you..

Good Morning Everyone,

My Heart Dr. called me yesterday and was quite concerned. Didn't get the

results of the heart scans yet, but my Liver Functions are are extremely

high....Also my magnesium is low and for the 1st time ever my thyroid

test was high.... He is very concerned..... I explained to him that due

to my bleeding disorder I had to be stopped from the treatment in my 6th

month because it was actually killing me.... I wasn't responding .... I

actually got worse.... My white count dropped to barely readable... This

was due to a rare bleeding condition that I have so don't let this scare

anyone on treatment.... It is just me.... I can never do the treatment

again and I am not a transplant candidate because of the bleeding...He

wanted to talk to my Gastro Immediately.......I have had 2nd and 3rd

oppinions on my liver dilema.... I even saw a Liver Specialist who is

also a teacher and he said the same thing...Nothing left to due but

watch what goes into my body!!!! I told him I watch every thing that I

eat, and take herbs..... I told him I am ok with the whole thing, and

have accepted it but I haven't given up..... But you know what? I am

really pissed that this is happening.... I do all the right things.

Don't drink, smoke and eat very healthy...... Now I am asking myself

why? I even cried last night because of all of the health problems

coming back to back..... I have to get off the pity pot and get the

fight back in me..... At least this explains why I have been feeling so

poorly.... Say a prayer for me!! I really need it....

Keep hanging in there, Diane. We are all praying for

you. Your strength is an inspiration to us all. By the

way, the milk thistle I am taking is in a product

called " Liver Formula with Milk Thistle " . It was made

by Natrol and contains 175mg milk thistle combined

with smaller amounts of dandelion, ginger, burdock,

black radish, and parsley. There is a website listed

on the bottle http://www.natrol.com if you're

interested in checking it out. I have no expertise in

vitamins, all I know is that my alt went from 119 to

about 40 before I started treatment. So, for what it's

My alt came back at 357..... I also have low magnesium..... I am

going to get my stuff together and go to the health food store and get

started on something until I can have something shipped..... I was

looking up the magnesium and it has to do with minerals..... I am going

to check the coloidal (spelled wrong) minerals since everything I am

reading suggest that...

Yeah Vicky...... We got it going on in Philly this week-end!!!!!!

Go Philly Go!!!!!! Wouldn't want to have to drive in that area this

weekend..

I went to the health food store and got a few things... Liquid

Vitamin C, Magnesium and Milk thistle.... I just wanted to try something

That's getting up there, isn't it. It steps up pretty

fast. I know when I read that " normal " is supposed to

be between 30-65 (depending on who you read) I thought

120 was very high, but apparently it isn't. My

readings were in that range for almost 20 years and it

never really raised a red flag to my dr.s other than

to mention that my liver enzymes were " slightly high " .

I noticed there was " magnesium stearate " in the

formula that I use, too. I'm not sure if that's the

same thing as magnesium or not. It's only mentioned as

a trace element (other ingredients).

So it's a high time in the old town this weekend, eh?

I expect Green Bay will be hopping too. We're only a

town of about 96,000 people, so you could fit 3/4 of

the population of the town in Lambeau field. I have my

son this weekend, so I'll be driving him home after

the game Sunday. I expect that may be a trial. It's

about a 35 mile drive. Well, here's to the Packers and

the Eagles! I'll root for the Eagles until it's the

I believe the year I lived in New Orleans, Philly was

in the superbowl (it was played in the superdome that

year) I guess that would have been the '82 season. I

preference. Eagles are my choice because they are like my home
