Guest guest
Hi Kingsway and Welcome, First let me tell you doing shots every 2 to 3 weeks is very old your Dr. is not keeping up to date on TRT. If your Test C vial says 200mgs/ml then your shot is 200 mgs. This is the norm back in the day for a shot every 2 weeks. But your levels are higher 3 days after the shot only to fall low by your next shot. Also this big shot can convert into Estradiol so in time your levels will go up to high. When this happens high Estradiol levels will kill your sex life no more night time and morning wood and ED problems. Also as your levels fall by your next shot they can get to low and this is when we men feel bad as Testosterone falls to low. So your on a roller coaster ride up after the shot only to fall very low by the next one. In this link the AACE Guidelines and this is dated it states on page 11 to do shots every 7 to 10 days. Dr.'s today that keep up on TRT have men doing shots 2x's a week some even every 3 days. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf So to answer your question no your dose is not to high but please talk to your Dr. about doing your shots every week. Doing this your going to feel much better then your doing now. Dr. at www.allthingsmale.com is one of the top male hormone Dr.'s out there go to his site and read it read TRT: A Recipe for Success and His HCG update. Yes most of use use HCG with TRT going on TRT your brain sees the added T on your blood and stops sending the LH and FSH message to your testis that tells them to make T so they stop working and get smaller. HCG acts like the LH message and tells your testis to make T as best they can and all the other LH cells in your body and brain. Men on Test C shots 100 mgs a week will add HCG 250 IU's the 2 days each before there next T shot. Doing this keeps your testis working and keeps your T levels up until you do your next T shot. Guest guest
Hello there, I am not an expert at all, but I think your symptoms are positive so far; less fat, morning-woodies, etc. - All because of higher Testosterone! GREAT NEWS FOR YOU!!! :-) So welcome the positive sides and feel good with them! Personally I've seen a rise in blood volume (HB) and thickness (HCT) which can be bad after some time. I guess I have to give away some blood to keep these down. I am on Testosteone gel, 75 mg daily. That is not a lot. But I did have the T-level of a 90 year old man earlier this year. I am 31 yo. I had an EVEN LOWER level when I was 17! My level improves when I was in my 20s on Thyroid treatment (T4-only). Now I take ERFA Thyroid (Dessicated Thyroid), DHEA, TESTOSTERONE GEL, Hydrocortisone, and will start Growth Hormone soon. For a balanced hormone system! I have Secondary Hypopituitarism. From: kingsway807 <kingsway807@...> Subject: Is there rist to high T levels? Date: Friday, October 22, 2010, 3:47 PM Â I'm new to the group and find all the info very interesting...my doc tested my Testosterone level and said it was low for my age and then perscribed an injection of testosterone once every 2 weeks (i think it's 1ml). I have learned to do this myself and so I've been doing this now for 3 weeks. I've noticed a few things...I've lost belly fat, I have a woody when i wake up, and I generally feel real good. My concern is could I have too much T in me now? If I did what would the side effects be? Unfortunately I don't have my start level and I don't know my current level...I guess I should go back to the doc and get more info on what's going on in my body. Anyway, my question is what would be the symptoms of too high of a T level. thanks.
Guest guest
Phil, I thought you were supposed to do you HCG shot the day before your T shot instead of two days prior to your T shot. Can you clarify please? Guest guest
Why cant one JUST take HCG to see if testis can make more Testosterone themselves?????? > From: kingsway807 <kingsway807@...> > Subject: Is there rist to high T levels? > > Date: Friday, October 22, 2010, 9:47 AM > I'm new to the group and find all the > info very interesting...my doc tested my Testosterone level > and said it was low for my age and then perscribed an > injection of testosterone once every 2 weeks (i think it's > 1ml). I have learned to do this myself and so I've > been doing this now for 3 weeks. I've noticed a few > things...I've lost belly fat, I have a woody when i wake up, > and I generally feel real good. My concern is could I > have too much T in me now? Guest guest
Ok if your doing shots every week and you first shot is one Mon. then your would do 250 IU's of HCG on Sat. and Sun then do your T shot on Mon. again. This is from Dr. 's paper TRT: A Recipe for Success and His HCG Update. at www.allthingsmale.com he I feel is the first Dr. to use HCG with T shots. Now if our on gels or creams you would do this shot every 3 days. If your doing T shots 2x's a week or every 3 days then you would do this shot the day before your next T shot. Guest guest
A lot of Secondary men do this that start at 100 IU's of HCG per day. Some do good at 60 IU's / day. I tried it I feel better doing both even Dr. at www.allthingsmale.com finds his men do better on both. Guest guest
He might not be up on it's use with TRT but your being on a cream 250 IU's every 3 days will help keep your testis working and up your libido.
