Guest guest
Headstalls uses Lab corp you try Emailing him as to what labs are best. headstalls1973@com cast.net Before you see a new Dr. call and ask questions like how many men dose he or she treat for low Testosterone and if they test to find out why he is low. Do they test for high levels of Estrada and use Aromatics to being it down. And if a man is Secondary do they treat with HG. At Dr. 's site WNW.albinism.com read TROT: A Recipe for Success in this are labs you need before starting TRT and after starting it. Guest guest
I don't remember but did you do them labs with this high TT number on the morning of your next T shot but before it. You need to know your TT levels to tell if your Free T is good Free T is only about 1 to 2% of your TT so if your TT is low your Free means nothing. What was the range on your FT test my Quest labs range goes up to 224 pg/ml. So if your TT is still very high and your FT is near the top of the range your good. If your TT is low with your FT up there it's not so good. Guest guest
The total test level of 1143 was on morning before my next shot which I took when I got home from lab.Not sure the FT scale at this hosp lab.Bottom line is I feel good with powerful erections.Just curious where 15 is in the scale of FT.I know below 7.2 is considered low but don't know upper end.I think I will continue the 40mg biweekly shots. Also began a round of HCG for a month to build my testicle size back to normal.Plan to cycle that every third month. > > > From: phil <phildude43@...> > > Subject: lab test question > > > > Date: Sunday, August 29, 2010, 9:31 PM > > Last month my testosterone level was > > 1143.Had my biweekly shot reduced from 50mg to 40mg.Just got > > an email fron dr that only said my free testosterone level > > was 15.He said this was normal. Is that a good range to stay > > in? Guest guest
My point about labs is as long as you feel good keep doing it. I am having back and leg pain and can tell you it takes it's toll on my TT and FT levels the stress of this lowers my levels. Seven weeks ago I feel from the 800's to the low 500's. You can Cal. your Free T. http://www.issam.ch/freetesto.htm This is why I like this Quest labs test you get it all under this one number. I don't like Hosp. labs they suck. Testosterone, Free, Bioavailable & Total LC/MS/MS Code # 14966X. With this test you even get SHBG. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. Not sure where the hospital does their test labs but that sounds like one they may use.I do know they send it out and it isn't done in the hospital lab.Takes about three days to get report back.If I am 15 then I am in a good range.Doc said 7 was cutoff.Anyway I feel great and am VERY happy with my TRT. Guest guest
Your just past mid range this tells me a lot of your Total T is bound out check your Estradiol and SHBG levels. If you can keep your Estradiol levels down to about 20 pg/ml this will lower SHBG and free up your Total T to make more Free T.
