If they had to repair the eardrum they might have taken some facia of a

muscle above the ear like they did for me. It would be worth asking the

doctor about it.

Your incision may have been retracted open widely during your

surgery. Jane's post makes lots of sense, too.

Nothing is too minor to worry about, especially when it hurts! Call your

doctor's office and ask for a call back. That's why they are there. Don't

wait for your next appointment and don't worry about " bothering " them.

Hi Scot,

Michele here. I am not familiar with reconstruction

of the hearing bones, but if the pain concerns you

enough to write, call your doctor. I'm sure someone

else will also respond, but maybe a quick call to the

doc could put your mind at ease. I know how nerve

wracking it is when you feel something that isn't

consistent with your previous experience. I have been

through this 4 times with my husband.

Ramble all you want. If you want to see some good

rambling, check out my messages from July through

probably September. Now that was some rambling. But

that is one of the reasons this site was created.

Please let me know what's up when you know. Good

Luck.

I think to put your mind at rest about your blood you should just give blood to

the red cross if they will not take it have your DR. take it.

GP says he's not gonna take blood. Head hurts badly. Could it be LOW

testosterone? Its 2 weeks since I quit the gel. I hate my life badly. Never any

stability, always up and down!!!

To help thin your blood now, Take 81 mg per day of aspirin, 2000 mg per day of

fish oils, and go donate blood right away.

The number one reason men get heart attacks on testosterone is allowing the

hematocrit to increase above 53.

If you can't donate blood, get a nurse friend to put an IV cath in a vein and

draw off 5-600cc of blood and discard it.That will drop you about 3-4%.Better to

to donate but there may be a reason they won't accept it.I drew off about 900cc

last month because I couldn't find a blood drive when I was off.Did it in three

separate sittings.Dropped me from 53 to 46.Got my eye open to donate an unit at

next drive.Phil

GP didn't say anything about a 55 value.I don't have aspirin. I take 2000 mg of

Omega 3 every day.

GP won't drain blood.

I think Lethal Lee wrote to me a few days ago that high Hematocrit and High

Hemoglobin can still be possible even if one has LOW blood volume. How is THAT

possible?

I am too weak and too slow in my head to think right now. Dunno what I'll do.

Probably nothing. Just wait. For what.... Nothing.

It can be I am in a lot of pain and it eats up my Testosterone meds. I just got

back from my Dr. he upped my Test C shot to 100 mgs every 3 days this is the

most I ever did. My levels fell on my labs 6 weeks ago and are still way down.

My Thyroid fell to so he gave me T3 5 mcgs 2x's a day. But I also have a lot of

fatigue.

What's your exact symptom ..... like pain like a head ache or dizzyness or heavy

headedness ?

I too have Hemoglobin level 17.2 and Hematocrit - 52.2 both are 0.2 higher than

normal. I have been having heavy headedness lately. My doctors are all tired of

my complaints but we have to be treated for what ever it is. Right ?

I have had pain in the level shoulder blade, back and pain in the left side of

my chest and I have been to all docs and even a cardiologist. None of them knew

what it was and after a while it is gone by itself.(about two months)

Now, I feel heavy headedness and my BP is in between 90 - 100 by 69 -72. Kind of

low and I am drinking a glass of salt water when ever I feel it.

I called red cross and they said as long as I havent been diagnoised with any

Hematoc..... disorder I can donate blood.

That's myside of the issue. So the only way is .......... go and donate some

blood.

Hope you will get well soon.

Thanks

Joe

Do I need to ask Hertoghe about taking one more Omega 3 every day? I am on 2

daily now. On my new plan, I am supposed to take 1 x Flax/Borage and 1 x

Perrolia oik every day - He didn't say wether I should take those INSTEAD of the

Omega 3 or add those to the Omega 3 or what. I am confused by EVERYTHING in my

life at the moment.

I will get testosterone results in some days, I did that test on the 26th to see

if anything had happened to it after being off T-Gel for 10 days. I also did

FT3, FT4 and TSH, and rT3.

Joe, I just wanted to say congrats on the pain going away! Maybe the natto

worked!?

Thank you Barb ! It may be the Natto but I stopped it about 2 weeks ago as the

red cross told me that I should be off of anykind of blood thinners for atleast

15days before I give blood. But I am glad I took Natto and very glad that the

pain has gone away. No doc has a clue.

As per our last conversation I posted the message below. I got my bloodtests in

the mid of cycle is after 3.5days.

=========================================

As I mentioned before I am doing a series of labs

on my T and E2, here are the most recent results. The TC

shot (80mg) is taken on Friday morning and the test is done

on Monday afternoon about 1 O'clock. ie on the 4th day the

blood is drawn. 3 day TC test.

Here are my levels:

Testosterone Total - 1072 (Range: 250 -1100 ng/dl) Testosterone Free - 213

(Range: 46-224 pg/ml)

Testosterone Bioavailable - 410.3 (Range: 110 -575ng/dl)Estradiol E2 - 47

(Range: 13- 54pg/ml)

I just did a .4ml of TC shot and did not take any DIM just to check how it turn

out to be. Wanted to see how

does my E2 look like with out DIM. My next test will be TC 0.5 ml or 100mg with

1tab DIM everyday for a week. Will post it after I do it.

============================================================

So what do you think of these numbers ?

I am glad that I am a part of this group as I get lot of advises and also

information.

Now I am taking 100mcg of synthroid and also will be starting a small dose of T3

(may be 5 mcg broken down in to two times a day ) and see if I can get my

Thyroid optimized. Also have you heard about " Thyroid Response "

http://naturalpartners.silverw.com/images/pdfs/IN0081.pdf

http://www.amazon.com/Innate-Response-Formulas-Thyroid-Complete/dp/B000UV7PUW

I am thinking of taking this supplement. This stuff really works. My wife is not

Hypo or Hyperthyroid but she has some Thyroid absorbtion issue and she is always

low and moody and irriatable all the time. I took her to my Harmone doc and he

checked her out and said she had an issue with " thyroid absorbtion " so he gave

her Thyroid Response and believe me it works like a wonder. I can easily tell if

she took the med or not on any day. She is active, calm, happy on the day she

takes it and quite opposite on the day she doesnt.

I too am thinking of trying it and my doc said I can take it in supplementation

to the synthroid. It balances our T3, T4 etc

Also, if you have seen my messages on my Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Its been a

couple of days that I have been taking it now and will post all the updates on

it.

Thank you,

Joe

I've been playing with DH's lab numbers, looking for some way to quantify any

pattern. I came up with what I call a Conversion Factor (CF) calculated by

dividing total T by your shot amount. So yours would be 1072/80 = 13.4

For comparison, DH's CF was 17 (1047/60) when his E2 was high (74) on 60 mg.

His CF increased to 27 (862/32) when I dropped his dose to 32 mg and his E2

dropped to 54. This means he got relatively more total testosterone from a

smaller dose of TC, I'm guessing because less converted to E2.

Dr. no recommends keeping T between 650 - 1000, so based on that, you're a

little too high on 80 mg, and this is reflected in your E2 level.

> Now I am taking 100mcg of synthroid and also will be starting a small dose of

This is great news! I think thyroid plays a huge role in getting your

testosterone dosing right. It might even by why your CF is so much lower than

DH's.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with any thyroid supplements, just the meds. But glad

they're working for your wife.
