Guest guest
I am Hypothyroid/Hashimoto's,Hypoadrenal. 4 grains of Naturethroid, 25mg HC daily. Various vitamins and minerals. I did TRT injections 10 years ago and did not have these kind of reactions.  Not sure what to make of it. Started the gels. How long does it take to really feel something on the gels? Frustrated. Benadryl will just mask a symptom that could become even more serious with continued exposure. Has your thyroid been checked out? If hypothyroid, skin can be thick and not absorb gels well. > > > > Going on my 6th week of TRT injections. 1ml/weekly into upper thigh area. > >  I am experiencing pain, swelling, rash, low grade fever 4 hours after injection. Dr. said I am allergic/sensitive to the cottonseed oil and maybe the benzyl alcohol. > >  The compounding pharmacy changed to sesame seed oil. No rash, but still have the pain, swelling, fever etc... lasts about 4 days. > > Dr. wants to switch me over to compounded gel. Tried the gels before and didn't feel it was working. Any Suggestions? > > Thanks, > > Greg > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I am thinking Pellets might work if he can find a Dr. that does them. http://www.sottopelletherapy.com/ Or try calling Compounding Pharmacy and ask them for the name of a Dr. that buys pellets from them. http://www.collegepharmacy.com/menshealth/andropause.asp Co-Moderator Phil > From: Barb <baba@...> > Subject: Re: To sensitive to the ingrediants in TRT Injections > > Date: Monday, August 30, 2010, 11:42 PM > If you're truly allergic to > something, you really shouldn't take it at all. > Benadryl will just mask a symptom that could become even > more serious with continued exposure. > > Has your thyroid been checked out?
