Guest guest
Don't even get me started on men seeing Endo's and Uro's for low Testosterone you have 2 Endo's and one Uro to many. They are not good Dr.'s for low T and have it all wrong. Men that are Secondary there Testis work they just doing get told to work from there Pituitary HCG acts like the message the Pituitary sends in LH and FSH to your Testis to tell them to work. A lot of men that are Secondary only take HCG they do 100 IU's per day. Most do both because they feel better. Yes HCG will make your Estradiol levels go higher if you take more of it then your Testis can handle some man that are Secondary have bad Testis too. I am Secondary due to a head injury if your Secondary did your Dr.'s order a MRI on your Pituitary to rule out a tumor it's rage to be cancer but needs to be checked yr after yr if you have one to make sure it not getting bigger. What I have is called Hypopituitary men with this problem need all there hormones checked I treat my Testosterone doing 80 mgs of Test C shots every 3 days and I do 250 IU's of HCG the day before my Test C shot. I take Arimidex to keep my Estradiol levels down. I am on Cortef 30 mgs a day I take 10 to 5 mgs every 4 hrs for low Cortisol levels my Adreanls work just don't get told to work. I am on Thyroid meds was on Armour 4 grains a day. I am on Iron pills for low Ferritin and B-12 with Thorne Research - Folacal and Vit-C to help my iron pills work. I am on Florinef for low Aldosterone levels and a tsp full of Sea Salt in my water 3x's a day my body dump my sodium. And I am on Growth Hormone all this because my Pituitary is bad and dose not tell my body to make them hormones. So after reading your post I feel you need to find a better Dr. See if you can get your Family Dr. to work with Dr. over the phone to test and treat you. He dose this go to his site and read TRT: A Recipe for Success and His HCG Update in this are the labs you needed and why he puts this on his site free for you and your Dr. He is about the best male hormone Dr. out there men fly in to see him they only need to see him once to be treated the rest is dose by Email or Phone. www.allthingsmale.com At this link is a closed forum for Hypopituitary it is full of good info and sticks you can read about this problem. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewforum.php?f=12 Co-Moderator Phil > From: greg vitiello <cupid1017@...> > Subject: Is HcG REALLY Necessary??????? > > Date: Thursday, July 22, 2010, 10:24 AM > Ive been on T injections and Dr has > me doing 250 IU of HcG every 5 th and 6th > day. Guest guest
Thank you Phil: I have had two 2 MRIs I have a small pititutary tumor 2mm. So, my one age management DR says I need HcG the other drs say i dont need it because I am secondary and the testes are shut down due to being secondart? I dont know what to think. My T level is at 1100, SBGH is at 7. ________________________________ From: philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> Sent: Thu, July 22, 2010 11:52:57 AM Subject: Re: Is HcG REALLY Necessary???????  Don't even get me started on men seeing Endo's and Uro's for low Testosterone you have 2 Endo's and one Uro to many. Guest guest
The other 2 Dr. have it wrong men that are Secondary they have a bad Pituitary there Pituitary dose not tell there testis to make T you need to stop seeing them two Dr.'s men that are Primary have Testis that don't work the brain can tell them all day to make Testosterone and they can't. There are some men with a bad Pituitary that have both wrong there testis don't work also. To test this just stop taking the T meds and see how you do. I don't recommend doing this just to prove a point. But when a man goes on Testosterone meds yes his brain sees this and stops sending the LH and FSH messages from the Pituitary part of his brain that tell his Testis to make Testosterone and they stop working. So to keep them working we take HCG this acts like the LH and FSH message and keep all the LH cells in our body and brain working. Here is a Cut and Past Dr. sent to me to help me get my Dr. to let me try HCG it was taking HCG that I figured out I am Secondary after being told I am Primary for 23 yrs. ================================================== He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing) there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone. This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic consideration. Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more natural balance of our hormones. Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life issues. Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.
