Guest guest
I am a 66 year old male that has undergone bilateral orchiectomy (2005). The only source of T is the bottle or Gel. I have always felt best when not taking any T injections with the T levels as low as 15. I have gone as long as 18 months off T. My concern is that there is virtually no E2 in the body at those levels. Will estrogen supplementation without any T in the system alleviate the problems of hot flushes, osteoporosis, memory issues, etc. I am not suggesting high levels of E2 but enough to maintain normal levels between 30 and 60. Anyone have any experience. Also, would progesterone supplementation help. Thanks for your response.
Guest guest
Hi jlc9292 and Welcome, We have men on TRT that had Prostate or Testis Cancer and they are doing great. I can tell you if your levels of Total Testosterone are 15 ng/dL your dam low need to be on TRT is your cancer is not active anymore. You need to run labs see what is going on then post them. There are ways to bring up E2 levels best to do this by being on TRT. If you were on TRT and did not feel right it might be the Dr. you were seeing. Go to Dr. 's site and Read TRT: A Recipe for Success in this are the labs you need and why. www.allthingsmale.com If you can get your Dr. to work with Dr. over the phone he can fix you up and your Dr. will learn about how to do this on your dime. Your taking yrs. off the back of your life with them low levels. http://men.webmd.com/news/20070605/low-testosterone-may-up-male-mortality?ecd=wn\ l_men_072407 Co-Moderator Phil > From: jlc9292 <jlc9292@...> > Subject: Estrogen as TRT instead of Testosterone > > Date: Monday, January 31, 2011, 9:42 PM > I am a 66 year old male that has > undergone bilateral orchiectomy (2005).
