Guest guest
Hi and Welcome, It is about more then your labs some men do not feel bad with levels as low as 450 were others are as sick as a dog. Any good male hormone Dr. worth his salt will treat you by how your feel with your labs. Others will just tell you your in range and fine. But anyone below 400 is very low this is a level of a man 70 yrs of age. But there are a lot of things that can lower a mans Testosterone things like high Estradiol this is a must test needed if your levels are above 30 best at 20 getting them down can bring up your Testosterone levels some 200 to 300 points. Stress, low Cortisol, low Thyriod, high Iron, Fatty Liver this list is long. So before you try TRT find out what is doing this to you. If you find out what it is and fix it your levels can come back up. I even get young men posting that over do it working out in the gym they go in them dam diets to lower % of body fat and end up shutting down there hormones. Go to www.allthingsmale.com and read TRT: A Recipe for Success in this are labs you need and why. Read these links and if you want to read more about this we have a links and files section you can find a ton of info in it on the left side of the home page. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=450553 Co-Moderator Phil > From: Gunderman <jz281880@...> > Subject: What do my test levels need to be to be prescribed androgel? > > Date: Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 1:52 AM > I gave my blood sample the other > day and would like to know at what level one > must be at to get treatment.
