Guest guest
No this is your Estradiol levels going up not your Thyriod doing Testosterone shots has no effect on Thyroid meds. Guest guest
I have not taken any arimidex yet because I started TRT last week my Estradiol labs was at 6, so when should I start adding arimidex? Shouldn't my e2 go a little higher? Thanks, Greg > From: fprappas <fprappas@...> > Subject: Re-Started TRT injections, seems like I need less Thyroid? > > Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 2:59 PM > I restarted TRT Injections and I am > not having the pain and swelling with a different compounded > oil the Dr. Prescribed. Guest guest
How do I keep the heart rate and jitters down if the estrogen is causing this. I though it was my thyroid. My meds are: 4 grains armour daily 30mg HC Daily 90mg TRT injections 2 twice a week. Vitimins and minerals Thanks, Greg > > > From: fprappas <fprappas@...> > > Subject: Re-Started TRT injections, > seems like I need less Thyroid? > > > > Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 2:59 PM > > I restarted TRT Injections and I am > > not having the pain and swelling with a different > compounded > > oil the Dr. Prescribed. Guest guest
Greg, do you have any recent thyroid labs at all? Apparently, in some, adding testosterone can reduce thyroid binding globulin, which would then increase your free thyroid hormone. I personally consider 4 grains to be a high dose, and have seen most optimize between 1.5 - 3 grains. But I wouldn't want to make that call without seeing labs. Guest guest
Most of us men test the Estradiol doing a Senitive test from Quest or Labcorp. I use Quest test #4021 I use Arimidex to keep my levels down if you Estradiol test comes back over 50 you would do better getting it down with Arimidex. If you can't get your Dr. to test and treat this and you have no morning wood try some Indolplex/DIM get this brand. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 http://www.dimfaq.com/index.htm Take one tablet at dinner time when your wood comes back your at your best levels. keep taking it but later if your wood stops your going down to low. So if this happens just stop taking it until your wood comes back that day go back on it but cut the tablet in half. Guest guest
Just wanted to say that Hertoghe told me that once your Testosterone levels goes UP, you can actually need LESS Thyroid, because your whole body (the system!) gets better working with Testosterone up! So there will be a better balance between the two hormones Thyroid and Testosterone! I think he knows what he's talking about.. I hope! Haha.. > > > > > From: fprappas <fprappas@...> > > > Subject: Re-Started TRT > injections, > > seems like I need less Thyroid? > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 2:59 PM > > > I restarted TRT Injections and I am > > > not having the pain and swelling with a > different > > compounded > > > oil the Dr. Prescribed. Guest guest
Yeah I think the principle is simple, and I am starting to get it: Say you have low testosterone, low thyroid, low dhea, low cortisol, low growth hormone. And you take ONLY Thyroid. You get a certain effect from it. It can be quite a good effect too. BUT you will put too much PRESSURE on one hormone: Thyroid. Leaving the others unbalanced. If you take less Thyroid, and more of the others = Balance! This is Hertoghes regime. > > > > > > > > > From: fprappas <fprappas@...> > > > > > Subject: Re-Started TRT > > > injections, > > > > seems like I need less Thyroid? > > > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 2:59 PM > > > > > I restarted TRT Injections and I am > > > > > not having the pain and swelling with a > > > different > > > > compounded > > > > > oil the Dr. Prescribed.
