Guest guest
WHAT IS AN OPTIMAL SHBG ?? IS THERE SUCH A THING? OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS MINE HAS RUN 17, 18, 18, 20, 22, 21, AND 25 nmol/L (ref range = 17-54) based on my data, I get the feeling this blood parameter doesn't change much regardless of testosterone or E2 readings? Is this pretty static within an individual??
Guest guest
No it changes as your Estradiol levels go up it will go up trying to bind up your Testosterone so the Estradiol will stop going up. And lower levels means you need more T meds to keep your levels up. Mine were over the top of the range when I first tested my Estraodil E2 levels I was over the top of the range 90. Today my SHBG stays between 19 to 24 so I need to keep my E2 levels lower between 15 to 20. Men with higher levels can get by between 20 to 25 pg/ml.
