Estradiol/Testosterone Levels

Hello Everyone,

I got an unexpected letter in the mail today from the Endocrinologist

discussing my last three lab levels. When looking over the results, there

are some surprises. The biggest one is probably just how high Estradiol

levels were before taking Femara. Would those of you who know how to read

results better than me please help me understand everything?

In any case, here are the levels I have.

1. Lab 1, March 1. This lab was taken only a few hours before I started

taking Femara.

Estradiol (E2), Serum: 63

That seems very high to me.

2. Lab 2, February 22. This the trough level of testosterone, taken

exactly a week after last injection.

Testosterone, Serum: 371

% of Free Testosterone: 3.2

Free Testosterone, SL: 119

SHBG (IRMA): 11

3. Lab 3, February 15

Testosterone, Serum: 721

I don't have any other values with this one.

If your Dr. did a Sensitive Estradiol test your to high. As for your levels one

needs to be on TRT for a time to get leveled so them labs don't mean much. It

can take a good yr. for some men to level off. And your levels can be higher 1

to 3 days after your shot best to do your labs the day of your next shot but

before them.
