Guest guest
I've been doing a lot of reading about hCG lately, but I should warn you that I'm still a newbie to all of this. Some docs say hCG is a good way to administer TRT, either alone or in combination with T supplementation, because: 1) hCG continues to stimulate the testes. This prevents shrinkage and keeps the testes working. There may be unknown benefits to keeping up your own production (besides avoiding atrophy). 2) hCG will stimulate all of the other LH receptors in the body, including the brain and adrenal glands, which would otherwise be deprived of any source of stimulation (since exogenous T shuts down LH production). Dr. Crisler suggests there are various possible benefits to hormone regulation by continuing with hCG, but I think that is mostly informed speculation rather than confirmed fact. If it's any consolation, I'm asking the exact opposite question: does taking hCG involve any risks? This being a new field, which is just beginning to get the attention from researchers that it deserves, at this point no one can really say what's best. I'm glad the wife is happy. Guest guest
I am searching for a good doc, but in the meantime want to start shots after 15 yrs of Androgel. Lousy labs, low libido, exhausted when I wake up. Cognitive issues, the biggest change is not real interested in sex. : ( I am waiting for an order of Enzymatic therapy Pure Rip w/DIM and want to start shots. Please explain a little about shots; dosage, how many times per week, what is the product called that works the best, etc From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of philip georgian Sent: Friday, December 10, 2010 11:40 AM Subject: Re: I Stopped HcG completely??? Guest guest
Most Dr.'s will start men on 100 mgs /week hold this for 8 weeks then do labs see how your labs look and how you feel. Some men don't last the week they fall off by there next shot. So to hold them over adding HCG the 2 days each before the next T shot helps keep your levels up. If you can't get HCG try doing your shots 2x's per week. I use Test C it comes in a 10ml vial and is 200mgs/ml. In this link shows all the kinds of TRT but the link is about women becoming men still it full of good info read it. http://www.ftmguide.org/ttypes.html#cypionate Also read this book " Testosterone: A Man's Guide [Paperback] Vergel You can buy it at Amazon.com Co-Moderator Phil > > > > > From: master_trancer <master_trancer@... > <mailto:master_trancer%40> > > > > Subject: Re: HCG dosage and > frequency > > question > > > > <mailto: %40> > > > Date: Monday, November 15, 2010, 7:17 PM > > > I have seen from other posters that > > > they have gotten a boost in libido from doing a > > smaller, > > > more frequent HCG shot.
