Testosterone makes cortisol go up?

Hi, Im currently taking testosterone gel, but it seems that when I get estrogen

in check (morning wood) my cortisol levels go high. Well I think its cortisol

anyway. I get very dry in the mouth, my heart races and I feel hot and have a

funny, like strong taste in my mouth. Ive had adrenal testing done that came

back high in the morning with normal ranges for the rest of the day. This was

before I upped my Testosterone dose though.

So if my cortisol is high at nigh or anytime for that matter, is hydrocortisne

usefull to regulate it? Isnt high cortisol a symptom of stressed adrenals and

therefore by adding cortisone, it may take some pressure off?

Thanks for any input...
