Any test for Estradiol?

what are your thoughts

I have been on Androgel three months-4 pumps daily. My T level was 525 in

December. My labs this week were 945 and my doc said to lower to three pumps

per day. I feel just " ok " not as good as during the first 30 days I was on

TRT--libido is ok not outstanding. I see an Endo and all he tested was the Test

level. I am not sure he is up to date. What would you guys do next? He sees

me again in four more months?

I find it hard to see someone with levels above 600 on 10 grams of gel your on 5

grams. If you put the gel on and did you lab with in 6 hrs your labs are spiked

up. And if you got some gel on the area that they take the blood this will

spike up your T levels on labs. I tell men to get up do a good shower then do

your labs in the morning as soon as you can then put on the gel after.

If you can't do this put the gel on making sure you don't get some on the area

they take your blood from and do them after 6 hrs.

If you put this gel on wrong call your Dr. and tell him I feel if you lower your

dose your going to crash.

You also need to test your Estradiol levels on TRT and keep them down to about

20 pg/ml.

No he did not do a test for Estradiol and also I did not put gel on that morning

as I did not want to affect the test as it was first thing in the morning. I

have been taking Saw Palmetto would that affect it? This Endo is around 60

years old so he may not be up on latest trends. I see him as internist as

well-he does both. I like him as an internist. What else do you recommend?

Jeff I need to know did you take a good shower before you did the labs. If not

the gel could still be on your arm.

I had the test repeated first thing in morning and did not apply

androgel-results were again at 940 using four pumps.The lab is in a majro

medical center so I turst results this time. I asked doc to check Estradiol and

it was 103. Doc lowered me to three pumps of Androgel. I ordered the Pure Rip

with DM as you suggested. Do you think I should find a new doc? Mine is about

60 and is an Endo but does not seem to be real knowledgable. Why would my level

be so high on wour pumps when my leavel at start for Testosterone was 117? This

is all very confusing. How much Pure Rip should I take? On table contains

120mg of Indoplex. Thanks
