I often get hot flashes 3-4 hours after applying androgel.

hot flashes and itchy nipples with me is a SURE sign my E2 is elevated.  I

immediately take 1/4 mg of armidex!!!

You need to know some men can get very high levels of Estradiol from doing to

much Testosterone meds. But and this is a big But if your Dr. did not test your

Estradiol levels for putting you on TRT you might have been to high to start

with.

Getting Estraidol levels down before going on TRT one can get there Total T

levels up some 200 to 300 points and they don't need TRT. Read this link.

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174

And this study.

http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm

I don't do well and a lot of men on TRT don't do well lowering there dose of TRT

to keep Estradiol in check. One needs to be careful doing this you can crash

and burn going to low on your TRT.

The problem with doing very low doses of T to keep Estradiol down or even there

blood thinner is there testis are no longer making Testosterone so all your body

has is the meds your taking. I have seen men go down lower then there base

levels doing this.

Yet some men lowering there meds were on to much to start with like the guy that

posted yesterday his Dr. had him on 400 mgs every 2 weeks this is nuts.

I feel men doing 100 mgs shots every week that lower there dose to keep

Estradiol in check need to go down a little at a time and do labs e very 6 weeks

to check how this is working.

The problem with doing this is cost if you don't have a health care plain.

Also Dr.'s that put men on TRT without figuring out why they are to low and

starting them on too much T is a bad way to start a man in TRT.

In my case as with most men it's a small price to pay to have good Testosterone

levels and feel better but need to keep there Estraidol levels down with

Arimidex.

It is very rare for a man to start on TRT doing 100 mg shots every week and be

on to much but it can happen.

Your levels peak after a shot at 3 to 4 days then start falling so yes your

Estradiol levels can peak with this.

Here is the problem with that thinking what if your Estradiol levels were to

high before you even went on TRT. HCG works like the LH and FSH message that

your Brain sends to your Testis to make more Testosterone. Now if your Primary

meaning your Testis don't work yes HCG will convert into Estradiol or if your

doing to much HCG more then 500 IU's /day the excess will convert into Estradiol

because your testis can't us it all.

I feel the need to warn you your playing with fire trying all this just to keep

your Estradiol levels down you need to run some labs go over this with your Dr.

if he will not test your Estradiol or treat them then you need a better Dr.

I have crashed many times in the last 29 yrs on TRT from Dr.'s taking me off TRT

or lowering my dose.

It's hot fun and it takes a dam long time to feel better once you get your

levels back up.

I think what happened is you went to low when this happens you don't cut back on

it you stop taking it until wood comes back then you go back on it but take

less.

Your E2 levels might have been to low a long time if so this takes more time for

them to come back up. Your off it now so wait it out see if your wood starts

back up strong again if not do labs.

====================================================

How To Take Arimdex and not go down on your Estradiol to Low.

What I found is if you go to low taking arimidex, it's the length of time your

to low, if your too low say for 8 weeks it can take your body a longer time to

make more Estradiol. Bottom line is to know how not to go to low. Keep a log on

your dose and how you feel men going to low can't get it up taking Viagra. I

went to low when I first tried Arimidex and did not know about going to low or

how one feels to low, so I was low a good 8 weeks. I did not know I was low

until my next labs.

The best gage I have found to control your Estradiol levels is to gage your

night time and morning wood. At good levels or what I call the sweet spot you

get your night time and morning wood back so strong it will wake you up and you

can hang a coat on it.

Most men do good taking .25 mgs or 1/4 of a 1mg. pill, I use a pill cutter to

cut the small pill in half then I stand it on the cut end and use a single edge

razor to cut this in half. A good way to take arimidex is by how high your

levels are. I tested over 90 pg/ml so we tried doing .5 mgs every other day

after 8 weeks my next set of labs showed it did not move below 90, test said

>90. So we did .5 mgs. every day in about 2 weeks I got some strong night time

and morning wood back after not having them for many yrs.

I kept doing this dose and in 8 weeks my next set of labs said <20 back in the

day labs were like this they did not have to good labs we have today they could

not read lower the 20. My Dr. told me this looks to low to stop taking the

Arimidex. The one thing I noticed was my wood stopped and stopping the Arimidex

my wood came back in about 7 weeks my next test at 8 weeks was 24 pg/ml. So we

went back on the Arimidex but the Dr. told me to take .5 mgs every 3 days I was

on this dose not a week and lost wood. This is when I figured out going to low

you lose wood. And the longer your too low the longer it takes to get levels

back up.

I stopped the arimidex right away and got my wood back in 4 days. I then after

playing with the dose for a time found the best dose is .25mgs every 2 to 3

days.

So lets say your labs are less the 50 pg/ml if your take .5 mgs you can go down

so dam fast your miss the sweet spot of your wood and go to low. It's best with

lower levels 50 and under to do less Arimidex .25mgs every 2 days if later your

lose wood when it comes back go to every 3 days.

I have found estradiol is the hardest hormone to control, it goes up or down

from month to month some times I need .25mgs every 2 days other times I need

..25mgs everyday most of the time I do well on every 3 days.

So between wood and labs I do great and so do most of the men I have told this

to. I keep a log on how much I am taking and how I feel. Doing this and reading

back in my log I was able to tell when I was going to high or to low my Dr. lets

me dose my arimidex by how I feel.

Over the yrs. I have posted this story until I am blue in the face.

This happens with you have a level change most of the time it happens when

levels go up but can happen with them going down. As you level off and

stabilize on your new level this should stop.

Hey Prime - you are not alone - I struggle with performance anxiety all the

time. After struggling through years of low T that caused all kinds of ED

related experiences, the idea of will I fail to get an erection, keep an

erection, satisfy my partner keeps going around in my head and eventually ends

up in a self-prophisized situation. I have done a lot of reading and when you

let your mind wander, this is when problems start. I have to really focus on my

partner and the experience to have a chance at a fulfilling experience for

either of us. It is such a hard thing to do. I now know how to eliminate the

physical portion (TRT) so now its all in my head - that would be the big one

that is suppose to think!!

As you will note, I did stop the Arimidex altogether. Last week I added it back

to my regime. However, I am trying a 1/4 tab every three days. So far this seems

to be working fine. I've had some amazing wood for me lately. One time even in

the middle of the day when I was fully functional and alert which usually gets

in the way of success for me.

I haven't noticed guys here talking about this, but there are psychological

issues that play a huge role in getting successful erections. After a lifetime

of sexual dysfunction, I know I have a lot of mental roadblocks to overcome. Let

me just say that anytime I am able to get a totally hard erection, I am elated.

I am taking this in baby steps really. I'm hoping each success breads more

successful experiences. You might find this funny or pathetic, but for the first

time in a very long time, I am starting to feel like I have some control over my

sexual responses. When I say a very long time, I mean it has been decades.

Although I have no doubt that a large portion of my sexual issues has to do with

my psychological make-up and perhaps even childhood negative experiences.

However, having just in the last year or so discovering that there is also a

physical component to this has been liberating. I don't feel like I have to beat

myself up so much for being less of a man sexually than I would like to be.

Same here I got my penis working again getting my Estraidol levels down only to

have problems with performance anxiety. So my Dr. gave me Cialis 20 mgs at the

time and told me to take this every 3 days this worked great. Today I am on

Cialis 5mgs /day for my heart.

You can get past that by using one of the injectible ED drugs. I have used

TriMix in the past. It is cheaper and more effective than anything oral. It

does not require any stimulation, and it is highly reliable. It is always

much cheaper. There is also one called Caverject. You need to inject it

properly. You doctor can show you how.

The downside is that you must inject it into your penis, so it is less

spontaneous. Also, once sex is over, your erection does not subside until

the drug runs its course. You must also go in for an annual checkup with a

urologist to make sure you are using it correctly.

But it works 100% of the time. You don't have to worry about anxiety.
