I'm still trying to figure things out about MB12. My real wish is to have my son on the nasal spray, but I don't want to have to deal with getting an Rx.Could I just ask my family doctor for a Rx? Will he insist on getting testing done first?? Honestly, I don't care what the tests might say, I just want to give it a try and see if it makes any difference. Could someone direct me to *the best* medical article (or web site) concerning the use of MB12 for people on the spectrum and for ADHD? I don't want to overwhelm my doctor with information, and I'd prefer something scientific as opposed to anecdotal. Till then, could someone direct me to a source for sublingual MB12 that is compliant with the Specific Carbohydrate Diet?? We've been doing the diet for the past two years (it has been a HUGE blessing) and I don't want to mess anything up by giving a supplement that has illegals in it.Thank you for any help. Guest guest
Hi , It really depends on the doctor. My general practioner Rx'd mine, but he is a pretty hip and well researched guy. His response was, " It's just a type of B12, sure. " There are articles in the FILES section of this group outlining why MB12 may work in autism. Let me know if you have difficulty finding them. - Stan > > Hello, I'm new to the list. Guest guest
Hello, I am new here and have a few questions. I have been reading this group for several months now and find it a wealth of information, its great to see a busy forum like this and I am glad to have found it. I am a 50 year old male with hypogonadism. I have been on TRT for a while now and have been prescribed 2cc of 200mg/ml T CYP every other week. I give myself injections. Doc said he didn't care if I did my shots as prescribed or every week or even twice a week if I wanted, as long as the end result equaled what was prescribed for a 2 week period. I had been getting shots at his office for the first 5 weeks at the above dose, only weekly, and then he showed me how to give myself shots and cut the dose as above. He said he liked to get his patients into the upper 1/3 of the scale. I first chose to do the shots weekly because that was the frequency I had been on but after 3-4 weeks my knees and hands began to hurt again at the new dose. I then changed to 1/2cc 2x a week (100mg a shot). I would say now about 95% of the time I feel good with only every once in a while my knee bothers me. I am getting my blood work done in a few weeks and was wondering what timing would be best to have my blood drawn. I am not sure when to do it because my previous shot is peaking about the time my next shot is due. I do my shots on Monday and Thursday. Would I skip a shot and have the blood drawn a week later than my last shot and then catch up with the next shot? I am afraid that my levels will test high and my dosage will be dropped, however I feel better than I have in a long time and I really don't want to feel like I did before starting TRT. I plan on having my Estradiol checked with the blood work too, if I can get him to check it. If not, I know there are other ways to get it checked and I will go that route if I have to. I currently manage it with DIM using the " wood " meter. I have also read somewhere the zinc has some natural AI properties, is that true? I currently take 50mg every day, is that good for someone on TRT? I am not currently on HCG but am going to be asking about that and Arimidex on my next visit as well. I am really not sure how that will turn out but I won't know till I ask. I feel fortunate to have a Doc that prescribes the T and I do my own injections but I just might have to find another that uses the HCG and Arimidex too. I know I can get those 2 things too by going another route, but I wouldn't really like going behind his back to get treated properly. I think that's it for now, TIA for input.
