I took the Sensitive test at LabCorp too a few months ago and got 8 pg/ml.  Is

the sensitive one messed up too?   I thought the regular one was the bad one.

I am still trying to figure out why I have erection problems...   Too high or

too low estradial??   My joints don't hurt, I am always in a good mood, never

tired, and never emotional.  I work out every day and I am very healthy

otherwise.  I am 6 feet tall with 14 percent body fat.

It's either E2 being too low or too high..... or some how blockage from blood

flow in the penis?     I get an erection every now and then but Levitra

really helps.  I thought for sure it was because I had too low of E2 but now it

could be a bad test.

Does anyone have an opinion or experience on which estradiol test to

get through Labcorp? Sensitive or regular? I got an 11 on the

sensitive when I was totally too high.

Thanks.

,

Are you on TRT and do you take some thing to lower Estradiol if you do. Try

stopping what your taking and see if you get night time wood with out having

feelings of being to high.

I don't like LabCorp stopped using them yrs. ago and now I am see a lot of posts

saying Estraidol Sensitive is at 7 or 8 just don't know about this.

Quest labs came out with an Ultra Sensitive test range <29 pg/ml and everyone

started getting results of <2 it's there test it dose not work right and still

after some yrs. it still is not right yet they send the result and know it's

wrong and charge you for it.

I don't us this test I use the Quest Estradiol Sensitive Test #4021 the range is

13 to 54 pg/ml it's the first test Quest came out with that went below 20 and if

your below 13 it shows how low you are.

I have been using this test for yrs. not a problem.

Phil,

I only take L-arginine, multi-vitamin, fish oil, vitamin C and now I just

started yohimbe.  No I am not on Testosterone Replace Therapy.  My

testosterone was 517 on a scale of 400-1000....but I am only 25?  This seems a

bit low?

Wow, I just pulled up my results and it was the Sensitive Estradiol test from

LabCorp and I got a 5 pg/ml on scale of 3-70.

I am going to get the " Quest Estradiol Sensitive Test #4021 " test.  Before I

went through privatemdlabs.com.  Where do I get the test you reccomend?

I can get an erection every once in awhile but it doesn't stay for very long.

Even if I don't get an erection, my libido is always high.

for the Sensitive Estradiol test #4021 you need a script from your Dr.

then call Quest labs and find out where they have a lab you can go to to draw

the blood if your Dr.'s office can't.

I would not go on TRT with levels as high as yours if your Estraidol is high

this will hold down your TT levels and getting Estraidol levels down can bring

up your TT levels and Free T.

I know that Dr. and others here say the regular test is not good for men,

but I've used it through LEF every 3-4 months for about 4 years now, and get

consistent, logical results. When I lower my arimidex dose, the E2 value from

the test goes up, and when I raise the dose E2 goes down. I've never gotten a

result that didn't make sense, or was way out of line with earlier results.

So from my experience it has been at least consistent. Of course if it's

consistently off in one direction, there's no way I could tell that.

Of course you could do both tests from the same blood sample, but if they

produced different results you still wouldn't know which is correct. You'd like

to think the sensitive test would be more accurate, but you don't really know

that (for example, ask Phil about the Quest ultra-sensitive test).

Welcome to the harrowing adventures of medical testing.

Back in the day all the testing men could do was a women's Estradiol test it's

range was some thing like 20 to 90 pg/ml. So if your on an AI and want to know

how low your going you need to do the Estradiol Sensitive test I don't and will

never use LabCorp Hardasnails uses them he is up on range and if it's good.

The Ultra Sensitive test at Quest labs is useless does not work right most men

get levels back when feeling to high at <2. I use the Quest Estraidol Sensitive

test #4021 until Quest came out with the Ultra Sensitive test Dr. used the

4021 test.

After he talked to Quest he started telling everyone to only use the Ultra test

untill his men were all getting the levels back at <2 this is not possable.

I got this result back my Dr. called them and they had blood left and redid my

test using the 4021 test and I was high 32 so the Ultra is no good. The keep

trying to fix it but just last week guys here posted there levels came back very

low doing the Ultra test and they did not feel low. I told them don't use this

test. Dr. got so mad with Quest he will not use them anymore.

I have to use them or the other labs are not covered.
