Guest guest
Hi Gus and Welcome, Your doing 1cc every 2 weeks this is dam old your levels will peak in 3 days and fall to low by the 7th to 8th days now until you do your next shot on the 14th. day your body is suffering. A 1cc shot is the same as a 1ml shot and if your Test C is 200mgs/ml or cc they your doing 200 mgs every 2 weeks. You would do much better doing 100 mgs every week. Even in the AACE Guidelines on page 11 they say to do shots every 7 to 10 days. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf Dr. says to add in some HCG 250 IU's on the 5th and 6th days each before your Test C shot on the 7th. days doing this keeps your levels up until you do your T shot. Doing shots every 2 weeks puts one on a roller coaster ride up after the shot only to fall to low by the next one. I can't say how your levels got this high unless you did them a short time after your last shot. Most men do labs on the day of there next shot did you do this. And that number must be for Total T Free T numbers are not that high. Go to Dr. 's site and Read TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG Update. www.allthingsmale.com Co-Moderator Phil > From: guskoerner <gus_koerner@...> > Subject: Testosterone Cypionate Curve of Effectiveness?? > > Date: Tuesday, April 27, 2010, 1:49 PM > Hey all. Guest guest
I would go with 1/2cc every week. The peak is 48-72 hours and from what I have seen the half life is about a week. By day 14 you are probably lower then when you started because of HPTA shutdown. My first doctor wanted to do the 2 week thing and I complained of being tired. He retested after 12 days and my Test. was in the 200's. BTW, your Test lab is probably total Testosterone. How many days after an injection was the blood drawn? ________________________________ From: guskoerner <gus_koerner@...> Sent: Tue, April 27, 2010 12:49:09 PM Subject: Testosterone Cypionate Curve of Effectiveness?? Hey all. Up until today I have been an on-looker to the posts here. I appreciate the questions and responses you all have given. I'm a 50 yr old male. About 10 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Low T (236) and have been on injections of Testosterone Cypionate, 1 CC every other week since, given by myself at home. My T level at the last check two weeks ago was 796. I presume the measurement is for free T, but I don't have the lab results to verify at the moment. The bottom line for me is a drastic improvement in my overall well being and libido. Has anyone seen a curve of what Testosterone levels would be over time? I imagine 24 to 48 hours after the shot my T levels peak, and then wane down after 14 days. Then the new shot would boost levels again - is how it would seem to me. What if I received 1/2 the amount weekly verses the full amount every two weeks? Would that be better for decreasing highs and lows in my treatment? gus
Guest guest
My last test was midpoint between shots, day 7 1/2 after my last shot. gus > > I would go with 1/2cc every week. Guest guest
That is a pretty good level for that many days. Day 10 on is probably pretty low. ________________________________ From: guskoerner <gus_koerner@...> Sent: Tue, April 27, 2010 1:39:13 PM Subject: Re: Testosterone Cypionate Curve of Effectiveness?? Guest guest
Hi Gus: Serum T levels peak 72 hours after injection and it has a half life of 8 days. So at 16 days you would be down to 1/4 level (half of half). Actually that would be 16 days after the peak or 19 days after injection. Also consider that a 1 mL dose (200 mg) would give you a higher peak, than a 1/2 mL. High peak levels tend to cause aromatization to estradiol. It can also lead to high RBC and Hematocrit. (Red Blood Cell production increases) It's pretty easy to extrapolate a curve from a starting point (end of cycle) to a peak in 3 days, and decreasing to half each 8 day period until the next injection. I suspect a 4 day interval would even things out a bit more but then the injections are a bit of a hassle and you don't want to " tenderize " your gluets by poking them with that needle more often than necessary. I've been on T 2 1/2 years. Started out with one injection montly then every 2 weeks and finally weekly. Each step to a more frequent injection was better. After 6 monthly blood tests for RBC, and Hematocrit and RDW, I've determined that donating blood two or three times a year will keep things in line. My local blood center has a form of donation the call " double red cells " where they separate the red blood cells and return the rest to your body. I think that will work well for me, and I can space out the donations a bit more. I'm 60 years old and doing quite well. I used to have an ED problem and still take Cialis occasionally. It works much longer than the advertised 36 hours. More like 100 hours. I do water aerobics, and pin-select weight machines and can do 1 hour on an elliptical trainer, or walk for 2 hours without stopping. I couldn't do that when I was 30. What have you found to be best for you? > > > From: zashes11 <jharvey@...> > Subject: Re: Testosterone Cypionate Curve of Effectiveness?? > > Date: Thursday, April 29, 2010, 5:45 PM > > > Â > > > > > Phil, two questions > > What does the curve look like whey you inject every three days? > and what happened with the growth hormone? > > Judy > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Have you tried twice a week injections? I'm considering \doing that. I'm also considering lowering hcg to 150 from 250iu because last week I felt on edge somewhat after hcg shot. Maybe elevated estrogen? > > > > > > From: zashes11 <jharvey@ > > > Subject: Re: Testosterone Cypionate Curve of Effectiveness? ? > > > > Date: Thursday, April 29, 2010, 5:45 PM > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > Phil, two questions > > > > What does the curve look like whey you inject every three days? > > and what happened with the growth hormone? > > > > Judy > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Phil, ..3 mgs / day is a VERY VERY high does to start on..... Using HG requires a slow ramp up with increases no more than 6 weeks apart or until the current side effects subside.... I started on .2 mgs and have successfully ramped up to .6 mgs...probably need more but I am working on other issues right now. Maybe people who have had problems have started even lower at 05 mgs. and one person I know even split their dose to twice a day. Your body has to get used to it just like Armour...although there is no feedback loop... It was worrisome to see you start so high....hopefully you will change your mind and try again as I have found the benefits to be tremendious for exercise....it is not a high or stimulating effect it just seems to really help with recovery and some social issues....
