Guest guest
Your E2 seems low for the amout of Total T you have - are you also taking arimidex? Might want to consider dropping your T shot to 80 mg per week with the HCG and possibly dropping the HCG to 250 iu per shot. Which day of your cycle did you get tested? Â How do you feel on this? Are you satisfied with the results? Â Arkansas From: Dave <david.w.smith-1@...> Subject: New Lab Results after starting TRT injections 4 weeks ago Date: Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 12:21 PM Â Here are my recent lab results. Guest guest
Dan, I am not taking Arimidex. The labs were done 2 days prior to my T injection. Guest guest
Hey Dave,  If your Total T on day 5 of 7 is 1000 then your peak has to be around 1600-1800 which seem really high to me. I would be worried over time that your E2 conversion would increase and defeat the benefits of your TRT. If you look at what healthy men's " normal " levels are it usually is around 600 ng/dl. However, if you feel good and your body is responding then maybe this is the right mix for you. I would really keep an eye on the E2 though.  Arkansas From: Dave <david.w.smith-1@...> Subject: Re: New Lab Results after starting TRT injections 4 weeks ago Date: Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 1:43 PM  Dan, I am not taking Arimidex. Guest guest
I figure my doctor will decrease my TRT dosage once I have my appointment with him. I actually feel great...better than I have before. I was on Clomid 50mg daily and HCG 1000UI MWF which kept my T up around 900. I am sure I am way to high but I am suprised my E2 is so low. I will have to just wait and see. > > > > > > From: Dave <david.w.smith- 1@...> > > Subject: New Lab Results after starting TRT injections 4 weeks ago > > > > Date: Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 12:21 PM > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > Here are my recent lab results. > > > > TSH:1.060 (Range-0.450- 4.5) > > Free Test:23.3 (Range-8.7-25. 1) > > Total Test:1009 High (Range 280-800) > > PSA:0.7 > > IGF-BP3:3.2 LOW (Range 3.5-7.0) > > IGF-1:97 LOW (Range 115-307) > > FSH: 0.3 LOW (Range 1.5-12.4) > > LH: 0.3 Low > > Estradoil (male):14.6 (Range 7.6-42.6) > > > > Please comment to above lab results. Guest guest
If the E2 continued to be in an optimum range, could sustained T levels in the 1600-1800 range cause other problems down the road? I ask this because my E2 will not move at 4. I hope to be switched to injectable T from compounded garbage this week. If I jacked my T to these levels, the E2 would have to go up, wouldn't it? > > > > > > From: Dave <david.w.smith- 1@...> > > Subject: New Lab Results after starting TRT injections 4 weeks ago > > > > Date: Tuesday, February 16, 2010, 12:21 PM > > > > > >  > > > > > > > > Here are my recent lab results. > > > > TSH:1.060 (Range-0.450- 4.5) > > Free Test:23.3 (Range-8.7-25. 1) > > Total Test:1009 High (Range 280-800) > > PSA:0.7 > > IGF-BP3:3.2 LOW (Range 3.5-7.0) > > IGF-1:97 LOW (Range 115-307) > > FSH: 0.3 LOW (Range 1.5-12.4) > > LH: 0.3 Low > > Estradoil (male):14.6 (Range 7.6-42.6) > > > > Please comment to above lab results. Guest guest
Dave when after your last shot did you do them labs I tell men to do the labs the morning of your next shot and don't do the HCG the 2 days before your shot when doing labs. Your IFG's are way to low you need HGH and with labs like this your drug care plain will pay for it. Testing LH and FSH is a waste of time on TRT it will all ways be low. Estradiol looks low do you have night time and morning wood is so it's good. Guest guest
Also your labs on your dose are not to high if you did your labs in the morning of your next shot but before them and not doing HCG your test would be down 200 more points. Guest guest
If Clomid worked this good for you then your Secondary did they check your Pituitary with an MRI to rule out a tumor. This might be why your Growth Hormones are so low. They look worse them mine were my Heart Dr. told my I needed heart bypass sugary because my GH levels were so low for so long this added to the problem. Guest guest
What he is talking about is his Peak levels after the shot he could go up this high. It happens about 3 to 4 days after a shot then fall fast. Yes in time if he is older and out of shape and over weight his Estradiol levels will go up. I think your going to end up on shots with HCG just like Dave is doing. And in time your E2 levels will come up. Guest guest
We all have a natural balance for E2 and T. Some of it may be driven by how much aromatase we have which can be influenced by how much fat we have. As we age, generally speaking, we tend to convert more T to E2 which is what ages us also. That is why most 80 year old men and women have the same body. Normally if you elevate your T, your E2 should come up also but we are all different and you might just have to try different combinations to find what works for you. I could not absorb well through the skin so shots was a God send for me. Excessive T does have its draw backs too however so its a balance act. Normally you will develop acne like you did when you were going through puberty but it seems to be more on the shoulders and back instead of the face. If you get really high you can get aggressive and actually see personality changes. It can also make you nervous and trouble sleeping. You can do a search on elevated T symptoms and get all of this and more. Guest guest
Hi Dave I posted back to you yesterday and it did not get through. Your Testosterone levels are not to high taking your labs 2 days before your next shot or on the 5th day after your shot your going to get part of your peak level. And if you did or do HCG the 2 days before your next shot and so labs they are not going to be acurite. Here is how you do your labs do them the morning of your next shot but before them I am betting your labs are in the low 700's and don't do HCG the 2 days before your labs. Now for your Growth Hormones your very low on your IGF-1 and your IGFBP-3 your lower then I have ever been my Heart Dr. after having Heart bypass sugary put me on Growth Hormones he told me having levels this low could have added to my heart problems. It's a waste of time checking your LH and FSH on TRT it will be low all the time you brain sees the testosterone in your blood and stops sending the LH and FSH to your testis to make it's own T. Your Estradiol is on the low side but if you get night time and morning wood your ok. If I were you would not change anything if your feeling good if you lower your T shot with good labs like this you can back slaide. Have you had your Pituitary tested with your low GH levels might be your Secondary. > > Here are my recent lab results. > > TSH:1.060 (Range-0.450-4.5) > Free Test:23.3 (Range-8.7-25.1) > Total Test:1009 High (Range 280-800) > PSA:0.7 > IGF-BP3:3.2 LOW (Range 3.5-7.0) > IGF-1:97 LOW (Range 115-307) > FSH: 0.3 LOW (Range 1.5-12.4) > LH: 0.3 Low > Estradoil (male):14.6 (Range 7.6-42.6) > > > Please comment to above lab results. Guest guest
When doing shots every week and HCG the 2 days each in between your T shot don't do any HCG that week and try to do your shot on the 6th. day if you can't go them in the morning of the 7 days before doing your next shot. I you do them sooner the labs look high and your Dr. will want to lower your dose. If you feel good on this keep doing it. Guest guest
Phil, Thanks for responding. I will have my labs checked again with your recommendations when I see my physican in 2 months. I actually work as a nurse and had my PCP draw these labs because my Urologist lost them. I am going to send them to him prior to my next visit. My moring wood is good..not great but good. I have never really thought about growth hormone. What is it suppose to do? I know my levels are low...just curious. I do feel much better than I did on Clomid and HCG alone. -Dave > > > > Here are my recent lab results. > > > > TSH:1.060 (Range-0.450-4.5) > > Free Test:23.3 (Range-8.7-25.1) > > Total Test:1009 High (Range 280-800) > > PSA:0.7 > > IGF-BP3:3.2 LOW (Range 3.5-7.0) > > IGF-1:97 LOW (Range 115-307) > > FSH: 0.3 LOW (Range 1.5-12.4) > > LH: 0.3 Low > > Estradoil (male):14.6 (Range 7.6-42.6) > > > > > > Please comment to above lab results.
