I just started Novarel on 1/18/10. I am taking 250IUs three times per week

and I noticed after my first shot that I had to start taking 0.5-0.75mg of

Arimidex every day. Before starting Novarel, I was taking 0.25mg of

Arimidex every other day.

I got a new lot of this 3 box's found out there is a new lab making this and

Medco tells me it's not a Generic any more. When I mixed it last month my

Estradiol E2 levels took off and I felt high all day.

After talking to Hardasnails he got a new box and it did the same thing to

him. We think the new lab making this that is not in this country it's about

4x's stronger then what the old lab made It.

My E2 levels were so high after a shot I had to take one mg. of Arimidex and

when my E2 goes up like this I have Panic problems and lose wood.

Any one on Novarel having this problem I am cutting my dose down to 100 IU's

from 400.

I just posted about this at Dr. 's forum Hardasnails and I found that the

new Novarel it kicking up Estradiol levels big time. My Dr. had me being in the

box and he said it's not the same as the older Novarel. He said some thing is

going right the the fat in the body. He is having a lot of men with higher

level of Estradiol and until he seen me did not know why this was going on with

the other men he has on Novarel. Here is a link to the thread about this.

Novarel is not a generic any more I had a big fight about this with Medco they

were changing me more money to fill it I use to get 3 box's for $5.00 the it

went to $15.00 now because it's not a generic it cost me $45.00 for 3 box's or

90 days worth. I called the Ferring Co. about this and they told me it's made

by a new lab that is not in this country and it is very strong now.

I have been having to take about .5 mgs of arimidex a day to keep my E2 levels

down. So my next shot will be a lot less about 100 IU's was doing 400 IU's if

this does not help I will have to get a diff. brand.
