Guest guest
Penny I don't mean to sound dumb or anything but do you take the garlic pills by mouth or do you insert them in the vagina, I have heard of doing both. Guest guest
Tammy - I take the pills orally - two in the morning, two at bedtime. I'm not sure I would be too keen to use raw garlic in the vaginal area - soothing yoghurt would be more appropriate I would think. But again, I must emphasize that you also have to watch the sugar/white flour intake. Guest guest
No web site is configured at this address. That's what I got when I tried the plasmafire url Duncan. : -( How come? Re: HELP Three words: " ozonated olive oil " for the vaginitis. It's all good and it doesn't matter what kind of bacteria or yeasts are there. Ozone insufflations are even better. http://plasmafire.com is the source, or simply email spressman@... with appropriate subject line. Eveyone, ozone therapy can be expensive depending on the gear, but it does work. The gear can be purchased at the above link. Guest guest
I think you need to add a www to it, as in: http://www.plasmafire.com That should work. > No web site is configured at this address. > > That's what I got when I tried the plasmafire url Duncan. : -( > How come? > > > Re: HELP > > > > Three words: " ozonated olive oil " for the vaginitis. Guest guest
I was told (by my doctor) I could have corn but no buttermilk! Why does everyone say something different? And I've never even heard of 'cold-processed whey', and certainly cant afford to import it from the US. Can I get it from 'normal' shops? Re: Re: Help again , for me, this is about balance. Guest guest
Yes, Duncan is a nutritionist. If you look through some current messages, there are links to his website. You seem frustrated? Understandable, because there are a lot of different opinions out here, but I think everyone has good intentions and are trying to help. Let me know if there is some way I can help (I'm not a doctor, nutritionist...just a person who thinks they have yeast problems). > So we're not supposed to have ANY carbohydrates at all? Guest guest
Morning , I am sorry you have to go thru this but we all will guide you thru this. Your son should be seeing as Gastro or Hepatologist. Did he have a liver biopsy done, I assume so since you said the needle stick. Your doctor will be asking for a blood work up. Get copies of all his medical workup blood, liver biopsy so you can keep track yourself and have everything handy if you have to see someone else. Hep C can lay dormant up to 30 years without being detected. Plus the fact that most GP's don't asked for a liver count during yearly blood work-up. Sounds like you son is at the very early stages, which is a great sign. The chances of sending the virus into remission is now 80% which compared to a couple of years ago is amazing. They are doing great research on Hep C. Besides most of us never die from Hep C just with it. So it not as bad as it seems right now. I am new to it all myself having been diagnosed in October. But this group has been so informative and always here when I need them. So ask the smallest of questions we are all here for you. Lynne help My son, 19, has just found out he has this hepC. Not for sure but almost positive through needle dope. Doctors have more test scheduled later this month. I thought after dealing with my stepson having Aids I could deal with anything but this is beginning to take it's tole on me. Sorry to ramble. I read you've known for about 11 years? Is this correct? What kind of questions should I be asking and the meds, which should he be on. The doctor told us today he would not start him on anything for 6 months, didn't sound good to me does this sound right? or should we go to another doctor? Also the doctor is a GI doctor, are these the kind of doctors who treat this disease or is there another kind of doctor? So many questions thanks for any advise you can give. We will survive, J. Guest guest
Sorry to hear of this , Your son MUST be clean of doing dope if he wants to be treated for his hep C. The liver must do so much. good luck. > Morning , > I am sorry you have to go thru this but we all will guide you thru this. > Your son should be seeing as Gastro or Hepatologist. Guest guest
Does anyone know where I can get information -- good information -- about hypothyroidism in my 13 year old? He was dxed at age 11 and probably pretty late. I think he had been suffering for several years before the doctors picked up on it. Guest guest
Karla, Many of us are on numerous chat groups. I recommend you also post/join the following group. hypothyroid/messages/ There is a very tenured member there that has dealt with this issue in this own family. I am sure he can point you in the right direction in addition to the advice you get here. Good luck! > Does anyone know where I can get information -- good information -- about > hypothyroidism in my 13 year old? He was dxed at age 11 and probably pretty > late. Here are some height-weight charts for achons: http://psy-pc120.bsd.uchicago.edu/~jbadner/htwt.html http://psy-pc120.bsd.uchicago.edu/jbadner/htwt2.jpg They may be applicable to people with other types of short-limbed dwarfism but they would not be applicable to people with significantly different proportions (for example, short-trunk dwarfism or dwarfism with proportions similar to the general population). Also, these charts don't go up to 4'10 " (which would be an unusual height for an achon) but it may be possible to extrapolate if necessary.
