If it helps to know, I had interferon directly into my vien, or is that an

artery?, in the crook of my arm, for a week for cancer treatment. Well, it's

blue and it's under the skin and they poked a hole in it lol.

I don't think you'll get any clearcut numbers of how high a reading it takes

to impact ones health - it is person by person depending on their own unique

sensitivities.

Here are a few coming from different angles.

Hello

I need some references.

Could someone please give me references for scientific literature suggesting

a link between high milligauss readings and health issues.

I know there are databases out there but at the moment I can only spend

about 10 minutes at a time online because of the RF coming out of the modem.

if you could give me specific references, that would be great.

Thanks

I can provide you with the following information (I didn't check the links

recently!):

1.. An Evaluation of the Possible Risks From Electric and Magnetic Fields

(EMF) From Power Lines, Internal Wiring, Electrical Occupations and Appliance;

California Departement of Health 2002;

www.dhs.ca.gov/ehib/emf/riskevaluation/riskeval.html

2.. Milham, S.; Ossiander, E.M.: Historical Evidence that residential

electrification caused the emergence of the childhood leukemia peak; Medical

Hypothesis; 2001 Harcourt Publishers Ltd; doi:10.1054/mehy.2000.1138,

www.idealibrary.com

3.. Non-Ionizing Radiation, Part 1: Static and Extremely Low-Frequency (ELF)

Electris and Magnetic Fields, Vol. 80 (2002), IARC, Lyon

4.. Lee, G.M.; Neuta, R.R.; Hristova, L.; Yost, M.; Hiatt, R.A.: A nested

case-control study of residential and personal magnetic field measures and

miscarriages; Epidemiology; 2002; 13(1); p. 21-31

5.. Li, D.K.; Odouli,R; et al: A population-based prospective cohort study of

personal exposure to magnetic fields during pregnancy and the risk of

misscariage; Epidemiology; 2002; 13(1); p 9 - 20

6.. Green, L.M.; , A.B.; et al: Childhood leukemia and personal

monitoring of residential exposures to electric and magnetic fields in Ontario,

Canada; Cances Causes Control 1999 Jun; 10(3); p 233 - 243

I know, that - if you live in the US - the US power supply companies had (or

still have?) also brochures concerning that topic.

In general someone can say, that these studies come to the conclusion, that

starting from 2 mG (milligauss) the human body might react....

Hope this is helpful to you!

Best regards

Kurt

Carla,

I personally believe that most of these docs have a deal with the pharmaceutical

companies and this is why they push the drugs. There's no reason why you need

to be on AEDs to get your driver's license back. If you haven't had a seizure

in three years and just had one after drinking diet sodas, I have also heard

from several people who have told me that the aspertame has caused many if not

all of their seizures so thare's a very good possibility that the seizure you

just had in June is from that. Don't let this ignorant doctor tell you that you

won't get your license unless you go back on Keppra, that is such bull. My

advice is get a second opinion from a doctor who truly wants to help you and not

the drug companies or their own pocket. Good Luck!

seizure free for 3 years. I had a seizure on June 3rd. After doing

a lot of reading I found info on aspartame and I believe that is what

caused the seizure. Shortly before it occurred I started drinking

diet soda, which I never drank before. I also started having auras.

As soon as I stopped so did the auras. I have been fine since that

time (late June). However, I lost my driving privileges of course!

My doctor doesnt believe the aspartame had anything to do with it

affects other than slight drowsiness, and that it was one of the

newest and mildest on the market.

What really gets me is this is exactly what the doctors told me about

Viox--Luckily I couldnt handle their mildest arthritis meds because I

had immediate stomach reactions. The last time they wanted to give

me an antiinflammatory they said that I couldnt take anything if I

couldnt handle Viox!

I have spent over 30 yrs half dead on my feet because of phenobarb

and a few years with acid reflux because of dilantin. I have changed

my diet--I eat all whole, organic foods, no sugar, excercise

regularly and I feel better than I have in many years. I dont want

to go on meds, but I need my drivers license back!

If I dont take the Keppra, I dont get my license back. Any

suggestions or info on Keppra including personal experience would be

greatly appreciated!

Carly, I was on Keppra but got off within a month but cant remember

why. there is a book you may be interested in Epilepsy the New

Approach. Yes aspartame will give you seizures. Yes I am on

Phenobarbitol and you can be dead on you feet with that. I am in the

middle of getting rid of that right now.

You probably have no choice but to take it or change your doctor.

best of luck

Nope, he's a complete and total charlatan. This man is what malpractice

lawsuits were invented for. Get yourself a decent doctor PDQ, you need

thyroid meds.

I got very bad hives, or heat rash, or " photodermatitis " , from using VCO

topically when I was in the hot sun in Mexico two weeks ago. I think it was

heat + heat, and too much. I also have no known allergies.

Has any of you had an elergic reaction to coconut oil? Since i have

started taking the oil my face has broken out in horrible hives?

What is up with that? I have never been elergic to any thing that I

knew of. Why would it do this?

Beffystick,

Although possible, it is not likely that you are allergic to coconut oil.

Coconut as a whole is considered a hypoallergenic food, meaning that few

people are truly allergic to it. Even fewer are allergic to coconut oil

because allergic reactions are caused by proteins and coconut oil contains

no protein. So an allergic reaction to coconut oil would be very unlikely.

Coconut oil, however, can have a powerful cleansing and detoxifying effect

on the body and this is probably the reason for your symptoms. It kills

bacteria, viruses, and yeast inside the body. It neutralizes poisons and

toxins and boosts the immune system. When all this happens the body

undergoes an intense period of cleansing. This is called a cleansing or

healing crisis. Dead microorganisms and toxins are expelled from the body at

a rapid rate. As a consequence, some unpleasant symptoms may arise as the

body is cleans house. Symptoms people may experience vary greatly. For some

the cleansing reaction manifests itself as skin breakouts such as rashes,

dermatitis, or acne. Others may experience nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, or any

other number of symptoms. Some people may feel as though they have caught

the flu. A cleansing crisis is not an illness. It is a natural process of

the body. It is a sign that the body is healing and removing poisons. It is

nothing to fear and is only temporary.

Nina,

It probably does. My guess is that the hot weather in Mexico (heat causes

you to sweat out toxins and speeds up metabolism/cleansing) along with the

coconut oil caused your body to cleanse faster resulting in your skin rash.

I don't know for sure, but I think this is the most likely reason for your

rash.

The whole time - even before I associated it definitely with the VCO topical

application - I was figuring that it was probably an overly rapid discharge

of excess heat in the body. The heat was not excess in Boston, but when I

hit Mexico, I was too warmed up internally and the VCO triggered a release

of the heat.

When I returned to Boston I felt much colder than normal - much colder than

I had felt in the same weather before leaving. This is another indication

to me that my body was getting rid of its " warmers " in Mexico in a hurry to

cope with the climate.

I was wondering before my trip if it's a good idea to shock the body with

the sudden change of climate involved in going from Boston to the tropics in

the winter within one day. The warmth and the sun feel great, but the shock

in both directions must be quite unnatural and disconcerting to one's

energy.

I'm still stumped. The aloe is cooling. It soothed and healed the rash.

The VCO was warming. It compounded the intense heat and provoked a rash.

They had opposite effects because they are opposite energies

(cooling/heating).
