Guest guest
This January will be one year on Androgel. The changes I have noticed are - more energy, the blond hair on my lower stomach is darker, more erections. The one thing that hasn't changed r my man boobs. U think they would have shrunk to normal size. They are not big but I would like a more normal male chest. Anybody know of a doctor in CT who deals with this or can perform surgery? Also going to doc end of Jan. Going for bloodwork what should I be tested for? Is 5mg of Androgel enough or do I need to take something in addition? Also start my diet and exercise Jan 1st. Anyone have any good tips on how to lose 20 pounds and build muscle? Sorry for so many questions but I find members of this group to be very informative. I never knew there were so many men who are testetone deficiency. It is nice to know I'm not alone and can talk openly with this group. Also thank u to Phil for keeping this group alive and going. I look forward to reading all your responses. God bless everyone and happy new year to all.
Guest guest
Your 'man boobs' are most likely not due to low T, they are a result of high Estradiol. Since you have been on TRT your E2 levels may be even higher. You need to have an Estradiol test done. Phil will surely see your post, but he recommends the #4021 test from Quest Diagnostics. You will most likely find out you need Arimidex, or DIM to lower it. I am not on TRT at this point, but my E2 is high, and I have a small amount of fat deposits in my chest area. I am starting Arimidex this evening BTW. > > This January will be one year on Androgel. The changes I have noticed are - more energy, the blond hair on my lower stomach is darker, more erections.
