Guest guest
My name is Lee, and I am 54 years old. I have had problems with ED now for 21 years, I was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, low testosterone (at 271), and high blood pressure/glucose intolerance issues. I am also about 75 lbs. overweight for my frame. My wife badgered me into finally seeing a naturopathic doc, and we found the issue with the hypothyroidism and testosterone. He started me on Natural Armour from Canada, ERFA 30 mg, DIM 100 mg. a day, and testosterone oil drops compounded, 4 drops a day (which was too low for me-he made a mistake on the dosing, leading me to my current problems). I also take Atenenol for HBP. I went back in for another lab draw 6 weeks after first seeing him, and we noticed my Total testosterone was at 191.05, lab range: 350-890. He saw his mistake and apologized profusely, and put me on 8 drops twice a day-he said my testes were pretty much shut down from being that low. In the meantime, I've made an appointment with another doc who has more experience with bio-identical hormones for men, but that appointment is not until July-a Doc Goldman from Atlanta. I've posted my latest lab results below. Can you guys tell me what to expect and what to actually do beyond this point in regards to further testing each time I go in to have labs drawn? What can I expect in terms of my ED getting better? Do you think this doc has me on the right course here? Any advice appreciated, I'm not exactly in the medical profession, so all this is very new for me.
