Guest guest
Marc, It doesn't hurt to try the DIM. I started out with Arimidex but it was just too strong for me I went way to low on it. Switched to DIM and it is working great at 1-2 per day. Taking two every day I think is a little too much for me but some days I forget to take one of them and that seems to be working better than taking two every day. So good so far? With your T numbers it may be all you need to get your T up to were your feeling better. And the best part you don't need to argue with a doctor about it. Sounds like a win win to me! Brett PS: When my E2 does get too low my symptoms aren't the same as some like Phil reports, I can still get a it up but just loose feeling like sex can go on almost indefinably and I can't finish. That may sound like fun hold out so long but when it just doesn't have much feeling it isn't. Just frustrating. Anyway that's my two cents worth! Guest guest
One thing I found about going on allday to finish. I have to take CoQ10 drove my levels down to low on Statin drugs to the point I can't walk without a walker. I am 66 yrs. old and it takes me some time to finish. Now on CoQ10 and Lecithin been on it 2 weeks walking is getting better and the feeling of sex is much better and it does not talk very long to finish. Guest guest
Phil, Yes I tried taking CoQ10 400mg for about 3 months hoping it might help my high blood pressure but I just discontinued it because I didn't think it was cost effective in my case, I don't take satins. On the E2, I think I am good now but if I take too much DIM or Arimidex then is when I start lousing feeling but still am able to get it up. It is kind of strange when it happens it's like you might as well be rubbing your finger for all the good it feels. I just mentioned it in case anyone else had the same effect that it might give them a clue what to consider. Now that I understand what caused that I think I can avoid going that low again. Like you I am learning to read what my body is telling me I need. Usually one DIM tablet a day isn't enough but a steady diet of two a day will put me to low after a couple weeks. Maybe I need to try 1+1/2 that might me just right. Either that or alternate days. I don't think I told you yet I am now on HC for adrenal insufficiency and that has made a huge difference. I still wake up feeling like crap but after I take my HC it goes away and I can think clearly in the AM again like I used to. I want to thank you again for all the help you have been Phil and everyone else in the group. I wouldn't be doing as good as I am now with out you all. With out you educating me so I could tell my doctors were to look for the problems I was having I would be were I am now. I am sure the doctors I am dealing with wouldn't have figured it out just based on my complaints alone. Guest guest
Brett there are two kinds of CoQ10 the best one is Ubiquinol Featuring Kaneka's Qh (100mg). I felt like crap in the morning even on HC. So hear is what I now do I wake up at about 5 to 6 am to go to the bathroom so I take my HC 10 mgs and my Thyroid meds and Testosterone or HCG shots then go back to bed when I get up I feel dam good.
