Guest guest
I started losing my hair in my late teens. By the time I was in my mid-twenties I was essentially bald on top. Sometime in my twenties, I went to the barber for a buzz-cut. I'm sixty-five now and still wearing my hair the same way. I grateful for the fact that buzz cut or shaved heads are in style and that I have a decent shaped head. For variety, I sometimes wear a mustache and at other times, like now a full, closely cropped beard. I've found that my bald head looks better when I am tanned. So, despite the risks, I use the tanning bed at the gym about once a week during the many sunless months here in Oregon. In contrast to my head, I have always had a fair amount of body hair. Sometime in my thirties I started getting hair on my back, which I didn't like. In my fifties and now sixties, the hair on my legs started to recede from the bottom up. -Not sure why this happened. Anyway. I like the feeling of being body hairless. I have been clipping my body hair as short as possible for sometime now. Although I tried shaving it off in the past, that takes getting used to and it becomes an everyday chore. Earlier this week I bought a body grooming electric razor from Norelco. It is amazing. Shaves off the hair really close without any nicks or cuts. Supposedly you can use it wet or dry. I have not tried using it wet yet, but dry shaving leaves me really smooth. I've been on TRT for about six months now. I haven't noticed any change in head or body hair growth yet. I am injecting 75 mg twice a week. To counter any excess estrogen, I am taking an over-the-counter product called Amidren, which I purchase at my local GNC store. Check these websites for more info on this: http://www.mensblogtalk.com/Amidren.html, http://www.dietspotlight.com/amidren-review/. I hope to begin using Arimidex instead as soon as I can find a source that does not require a prescription to purchase it. The Amidren may be effective because I've started having nighttime and morning erections. Not much going on with spontaneous erections during the day though. It would be nice have a stronger libido. Who knows, maybe it takes awhile for one's libido to come back after decades of a complete absence of it. I would also like to find a source for HCG. My one real testicle hasn't shrunk noticeably, thank goodness. I am not looking forward to that happening. The prosthetic testicle, which I have had since I was thirty-eight years old, is on the small side. The doctor said it was the largest prosthetic made. I think this was a line of crap he fed me. He probably ordered the wrong size. Ha, ha. The real one isn't all that big, but it is bigger than the prosthetic one. Like most men, I'd like to be really hung….maybe the next time around this will happen for me. All in all, I'd say how my hair grows or doesn't is of less consequence than how my male body parts function. On nice benefit of TRT has been that I've added about twenty pounds of muscle (and very little fat) over the past six months. Makes all that time pumping iron at the gym seem more worthwhile. > > > > Hair loss is a big deal with me. I am on HRT at 2ml every 10 days. > > Is there something on the market that I caan take that will help save the hair. Have been on it for a while now and the hair on my head seems to be thinning out. Sence being on HRT I now have a very hairy chest, belly, legs, and hair growing on my back. I neve had this much hair, but I do not want to lose the hair on my head. > > Perscription drugs might be the ticket, but was wondering if you guys knew of something over the counter to take oraly. > > >
Guest guest
Just shows how different folks like different things. I am upset that some of my body hair is thinning due to low T. Always have been a 'hairy' guy per se, and short of the pits and gnads I have never shaved myself. Used to shave the armpits prior to summer to avoid stinking to high heaven, and I used to shave my testicles cause the women seemed to prefer that. I have very little back hair though,.......that I wouldn't care much for. > > > > > > > > Hair loss is a big deal with me.
