Guest guest
Joe the cream would work much better then doing 100 mgs every 2 weeks this is dam old good Dr. up on TRT don't do shots every 2 weeks. If you can't do a shot 100 mgs every week go with the cream. Why pay for something this does not work. You will be on a roller coaster ride doing 100 mgs every 2 weeks up after the shot only to fall to low by the next one. It's when T levels fall to low we feel like crap. Guest guest
Yeah... the only shot which lasts for two weeks is Nebido, which is not available in the US. If you are curious, just go to the drug company web site, and they give all kinds of information, such as what the drug's half life is, and how long it stays in your system, on average. Here is a quote from the Pfizer site, the maker of Depo-testosterone: " About 90 percent of a dose of testosterone is excreted in the urine as glucuronic and sulfuric acid conjugates of testosterone and its metabolites; about 6 percent of a dose is excreted in the feces, mostly in the unconjugated form. Inactivation of testosterone occurs primarily in the liver. Testosterone is metabolized to various 17-keto steroids through two different pathways. The half-life of testosterone cypionate when injected intramuscularly is approximately eight days. " So, at 14 days, you would be and nearly two half lives of the testosterone, or about 25% of where you would be shortly after your injection. That could be quite a roller coaster ride. Maybe it's there and I just don't notice it. I should probably try a month's worth of the cream just to see how it makes me feel. If it helps a lot I'll definitely want to continue with it. Guest guest
Compounded creams can be adjusted to higher %'s of Testosterone so you can go up to 10 % and the do more this is what I was on until the patch came out and my BCBS would not pay for the cream anymore. I got so I couldn't sleep good at all and was getting kind of depressed. I felt a lot better after that shot. The Rx I have says Testosterone in oil 25 mg / 4 drops. 4 drops BID. #1 month supply. Refill x 6. Sub allowed. Joe
