Guest guest
1 ml = 1 cc, so .25 ml = .25 cc > > I'm used to working with IM needles for TRT, now I am incorporating hcg with an insulin needle for the first time, and I am lost. I begin the hcg tonight, and don't want to screw up the dosage. > > The via was hcg 5,000 units. The instructions were to mix it with 5ml water, which I did. The dose is 0.25 ml (250iu) however these measurements are not on the insulin syringe, it is marked in increments of 10, with 100=1cc. How much would 0.25 ml be? > > THANKS! >
Guest guest
Thanks Barb..I really appreciate it. Thats what I was going to go with, but was confused as others mix with more water, apparently. > > > > I'm used to working with IM needles for TRT, now I am incorporating hcg with an insulin needle for the first time, and I am lost. Guest guest
25 units on an insulin syringe = 250iu when you are using a 1000iu/ml mix. 25 units = .25cc > > I'm used to working with IM needles for TRT, now I am incorporating hcg with an insulin needle for the first time, and I am lost. Guest guest
Clint, Your right because mls are the same as cc's so .25mls is the same as .25cc and this is 250 IU's. You mixed up 5,000 IU's in a 5ml vial this is = to 5cc vial and 1000 IU's/ ml or cc.
