Guest guest
All I can tell you is your levels for 3 days after the shot are low most would be up into the 1400. So your Dr. is not right about this and as for your liver redo the testing but do the next test on the morning of your next shot but before it. If you do this on one lab test and crash only to find out later your labs were off it's all for nothing. I have lost count how many times my labs came back wrong. My Dr. dose not change my meds on one lab test he redose them. And Hosp. labs I feel are not all that great. Get your labs done at Quest labs or Labcorp. Guest guest
The question is how do you feel? Were is your e2, SHBG thyroid parameters and also adrenal function when on 200 mgs a week when was the blood drawn in relationship to the shot? Did you work out or drink alcohol before the blood test. IF liver enyzme are high we find that low thyroid can also cause elevated liver enyzme ALT > > Hi Phil, hello everybody > After 2 years in hands of an urologist who kept me on 200mg T shots every week that raised my T levels to around 750 only, I made the decision to try by myself. Guest guest
In my case Phil I stopped because my T levels were good prior to TRT. Are there certain side effects from stopping aside from the intial crash? Guest guest
It's different for everyone some don't feel all that back others crash hard and feel dam sick I have read of men going to the ER they felt so bad. Some men that did not need TRT and were not on meds a long time less then 45 days feel off then there levels go back up. My Friend Hardasnails and Dr. O treated a men's thyroid and took him off TRT and his levels came back up and kept going up until he was normal. Guest guest
Thank you for answer. I just came back from work. I feel good in terms of mood and physical energy. However, my libido is very low and my erections are weak. I'm embarrased for not to be able to answer most of your questions. I swear that I'm tired to ask every doctor I have had to order the necessary lab tests to know how is my E-2, SHBG and adrenal function, but they don't listen 'cause they know little or nothing about TRT and for same reason they are not methodical. When I was on 200 mg T a week the blood drawn was done any day at any time every 3 months first and every 6 months later. I know I should look for a true expert on TRT, but I can't 'cause currently I'm in a low income situation. By now, the only thing I can do is try to still getting my testosterone prescriptions from my family doctor and do the lab tests he refuses to order. Since your point of view, and considering my precarious finances, what lab tests are absolutly necessary to do? Yes, I made a big mistake: I drank a six pack beer two days before the lab test. It is stupid drinking alcohol while in TRT, I guess. No more drinking. Thanks for your help. > > > > Hi Phil, hello everybody > > After 2 years in hands of an urologist who kept me on 200mg T shots every week that raised my T levels to around 750 only, I made the decision to try by myself.
