Guest guest
I've heard a lot lately in the newspaper and radio/TV about tatoos and MRIs. I don't have one, so I haven't saved the articles. The old ones (single, flat color - usually blue or black) don't appear to be involved at all. But the newer ones, using the vivid, flourescent colors (red being the worst, but not only color) being the more dangerous ones. The base they use in the new tatoo coloring contain an element that can cause deep burning, like in a microwave. But, it is not ALL tatoos. Seems like one more thing to worry about...and question ahead of time. Connie wrote: Wait, I just had an MRI...........they didn't ask about tattoos.............I do have one............hhmmmm??? Guest guest
No my first tests my Dr. missed reading my labs my Total T was 120 and my LH was very low near the bottom of the range now this was 29 yrs ago still this is a flag going up that it can be a pituitary problem my story is long you can read it at this link. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=5 & t=9239 I got sick about 6 months after a auto accident where I hit my head into the roof of the car. I was hit stopped at a light in the rear by a truck that pushed me into the car in front of me. Dr.'s checked me out and said I was fine about 6 months later I started to get sick and lose my balance. Every time I said this all started after an accident I was told this is not the problem. My first 5 yrs I was told I am suffering from Major Depression and because I was off work on sick leave I needed to see a Dr. for this to keep my job. Then they found out I am not Depressed I have low Testosterone but they told me I am Primary my testis don't work. Well when you go 6 yrs with your brain not tell your Testis to make testosterone they get small. The Dr. that found me to have low T was a Uro and he felt my testis and told me they were not working. I went 23 yrs on TRT not feeling all that great read my story. If your Testosterone is low and your Estradiol is good less then 30 with a low LH and FSH this can mean your Pituitary is not working. Guest guest
there would be no reason to stop - MRI does not involve opiates - at least it never has for the many I have had.JaxiOn Wed, Dec 8, 2010 at 7:11 PM, BILL SZLAGA <bszlaga@...> wrote: I AM HAVING A MRI FRIDAY AT NOON FOR MY BRAN AND CERVICAL SPINE.
