estriodial needs to be taken 5 weeks after starting therapy. One may also gauge

their morning and noctural errections as guage to be in the right zone. Once

every 3 days is the starting does for guys over 50 ng/dl then dosage is adjusted

accordingly

If it's been a good 6 weeks test your estradiol levels again you might be going

to low. New men to this have a hard time gaging this by there night time and

morning wood. If you lose it or don't feel you had it in your sleep try to get

it up before you get out of bed if you can't you might have went to low. Try

not taking the Arimidex and see if your wood comes back if it dose your were to

low go back on the Arimidex but take less if you were doing .25 mgs every 2 days

go back on it but do every 3 days. How much were you taking.

I am taking 1/4 pill (25mg) every other day. I started off at 25mg 2x per week

and have worked my way up to the 25mg every other day as I wasn't getting night

time wood until I took that amount. Since being on that dose for over 5 weeks I

have been noticing night time wood but rarely in the AM when I wake. The night

time wood has ranges from very rigid to almost painfully hard... which makes me

think I'm in range... but my sex drive is still hard to find

Some numbers for you all to ponder...

Pre Arimidex E level was 72.3

Blood test after 4+ weeks of taking Arimidex brought E levels down to 56.6

I am now about to do a 6 week followup blood work on Saturday (tomorrow) to see

where the EOD 25mg dosing has brought me. I have a hunch that I am still too

high on the E as I am still feeling waves of anxiety. Do some people need the

high dose of Arimidex I am using or perhaps even higher? Is it possible my body

is an overacheaver at converting T to E?

So again - per my original post... Should I just get a Estrodiol test? or should

I look at other things as well?

Well if your labs were for Estradiol E2 and not E then yes I would think you

needed more Arimidex. I tell men over 50 pg/ml to take .5 mgs every other day

still what your doing worked it just took longer. It is ok to take more and if

you go to low and spot it gaging by your wood you just stop and when your wood

comes back go back on the arimidex but take less. This is a process some of us

need to do a lot. This is why I tell men to keep a log on how they feel with

they are to high going to low is easy you lose wood. Going to high your wood

gets weak you feel sore and hard nipples and feel hot with feelings of anxiety

in time you lose your wood again. Still it's good to do labs you need to pay

for them your self so just test your Estradiol E2 levels. Unless your last test

was low on T and you upped your dose.

Hi -

So I bit the bullet and paid for the Total T, Free T and Estrodiol..results come

back Wednesday

I figure since I have changed my shots from 1x a week to 2x a week and have been

tweaking the Arimidex it was time for the trifecta again.

Will let you know the result on Wednesday when they come back.

I do get some feelings of anxiety sometimes rather strong - but I thought that

was a sign that my E is too high... so interesting to know it could be too low

and also provoke Anxiety like it did when it was too high..... hmm good to know

And yes I have been keeping a daily log which has been very detailed since I

started the Arimidex as you suggested... everything from wood, headaches, sexual

urges/frequency/, anxiety, difficulty/amount of sleep, food intake, etc etc...

It has been good to look back at it over the weeks to try and find patterns to

match with my T shots as well as Arimidex...

I'll stick it out till Wednesday and not change my dose until I see some

numbers.

Good Idea I hope your labs come back good. Anxiety and panic feels are hard to

deal with. I have been hyper on my Thyroid meds for the last 4 weeks feeling

very bad some days it was very hard for me to read and post here. I never got

over feeling Anxiety and having Panic Attacks so when my Estradiol levels were

to high we found out this was what caused them. But now that I had them when my

Estradiol levels go to high I get that feeling and it brings on panic feelings

so does my low sugar and now I am on HGH and my Thyroid is getting better and my

meds are to strong. I have been sweating like a pig, feeling panic so bad most

of the time all I can do is sit in a quit room and my BP and heart rate shot way

up.

When this happened I figured it was my Estradiol and the new Novarel HCG I got

that is very strong. So I took more Arimidex yet it did not help. So here I am

taking 2 mgs. a day and nothing yet I was still having wood so I knew I was not

going to low.

I then after 2 weeks of this crap looked at the bottle of Arimidex and seen it

was 2 yrs past the Exp. Date. I got some new Arimidex and took .25 mgs and felt

better but my BP and heart rate did not come down. I seen my Dr. 2 weeks ago

and he told me my Thyroid levels are way to high to cut back on my Armour this

is why I am feeling this way.

So he says stop all the Armour until the hyper feeling stop then go back on it

slow to a lower dose. I was on 4 grains of Armour and he cut me back to 3.5

still when I got to 2.5 grains I went hyper again.

I called him he told me to stop again then go back on it when the hyper feelings

stop. When I have been starting and stopping and going hyper. I am now down to

30 mgs one half a grain 2 x's a day and still feeling hyper not as bad but it's

there.

So you see when it rains it pours and as for the feelings of Anxiety and Panic

once you have it things set it off all you can do is learn to cope with it one

thing I do is in this link it helps.

And at night when I can't sleep because my mind is racing doing this laying down

puts me to sleep.

Sorry to hear of your discomfort!

I have coped with anxiety bouts for a long while (years) and do self-hypnosis

and the relaxation response... Working out in the gym has always been the best

medicine for me though! Where I am living now I don't have a gym, but will be

moving back to the states soon and look forward to getting back into " my workout

therapy. "

But it's a good thing it's looking like I will not need to treat my Thyroid with

meds anymore. I feel fine this morning because I have not taken any of the

thyroid meds. I have a call into my Dr. just waiting for him to call me back.
