Guest guest
I just got my blood test results back after using 1 pump of compounded testosterone gel per day - the results from Quest show a level of 198!! very very low I e-mailed the pharmacy and asked them about it - just got off the telephone with the pharmacist and he told me a few interesting things which I would like your opinions on 1) The best place to apply the gel/cream is the wrist or forehead due to the fact that the skin is thinnest there - also more vascular. 2) Saliva testing is better than blood testing due to the fact that saliva testing is better for measuring tissue concentrations of testosterone as opposed to blood levels which depend on the lab processing the samples accurately. Guest guest
I am sorry but I am tried of talking about Saliva testing for men's Sex Hormones they are not any good the only thing Saliva testing is good for in men is to see how there cortiols rhythm looks after doing a morning fasting Cortisol blood test that came back below 15. The Saliva test will show if your high in the morning going down by bed time. This is normal but if your high at bed time this is a problem it's not as much about the number on the test just how the rhythm look. Some men don't do well on Gels or Compounded creams on gels we put the gel on the upper arms and shoulders and going down the back as far as one can reach. With gels it's about the area you need to cover a lot of it for it to work and do both sides. With Compounded Gels you can put in on your fore arms with out using your hands and rub your arms together. If your levels came back lower then you started your gel is not strong enough you need more T mixed in it some do 10% Testosterone in there compounded gel. Try this if this dose not do the job it's your skin it's not letting the gel through your skin I would never put any Testosterone on my head this is Nuts. Switch to shots start with 100 mgs of Test C doing them once a week get your Dr. to show you how to do your own shots. I use a small 27g 1ml. x 1/2 " lg. needle and shoot into my thigh. Here is a link on doing shots but read the info page too. http://spotinjections.com/index3.htm Co-Moderator Phil > From: cvictorg <cvgrashow@...> > Subject: Saliva vs blood test for measurement of testosterone + application site question > > Date: Monday, January 17, 2011, 12:23 PM > I just got my blood test results back > after using 1 pump of compounded testosterone gel per day - > the results from Quest show a level of 198!! very very > low > > I e-mailed the pharmacy and asked them about it - just got > off the telephone with the pharmacist and he told me a few > interesting things which I would like your opinions on > > 1) The best place to apply the gel/cream is the wrist or > forehead due to the fact that the skin is thinnest there - > also more vascular. > > 2) Saliva testing is better than blood testing due to the > fact that saliva testing is better for measuring tissue > concentrations of testosterone as opposed to blood levels > which depend on the lab processing the samples accurately. > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
Shots don't mimic the body's circadian rhythm - hey results in peaks and troughs The pharmacist suggesting applying the cream on the forehead wher the skin is thinnest and there is more vascularity > > > From: cvictorg <cvgrashow@...> > > Subject: Saliva vs blood test for measurement of testosterone + application site question > > > > Date: Monday, January 17, 2011, 12:23 PM > > I just got my blood test results back > > after using 1 pump of compounded testosterone gel per day - > > the results from Quest show a level of 198!! very very > > low > > > > I e-mailed the pharmacy and asked them about it - just got > > off the telephone with the pharmacist and he told me a few > > interesting things which I would like your opinions on > > > > 1) The best place to apply the gel/cream is the wrist or > > forehead due to the fact that the skin is thinnest there - > > also more vascular. > > > > 2) Saliva testing is better than blood testing due to the > > fact that saliva testing is better for measuring tissue > > concentrations of testosterone as opposed to blood levels > > which depend on the lab processing the samples accurately. > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > >
Guest guest
No they don't but some of us can do gels or creams they don't get levels up high enough and for some if us the testosterone going through the skin dose not support the joints and muscles. Still you might only need a high dose what dose it say on your gel mgs and how much the % to T it has. I do shots every 3 days and use HCG the day before my shot I feel the best on this better then any kind of TRT I ever did. Guest guest
At 2.5 mgs a day increase to 7.5 mgs then retest in 10 days. 2.5 will not do crap for you. Anything under 5 is a waste. Script went out in mail today or early first thing tomorrow. Saliva test are junk unless for females. For males cortisol is only one. Even the DHEA-S saliva if it is low then it is usually a good indicator, but it can vary. urine with comparison of blood is usualy the gold standard. > > I just got my blood test results back after using 1 pump of compounded testosterone gel per day - the results from Quest show a level of 198!! very very low > > I e-mailed the pharmacy and asked them about it - just got off the telephone with the pharmacist and he told me a few interesting things which I would like your opinions on > > 1) The best place to apply the gel/cream is the wrist or forehead due to the fact that the skin is thinnest there - also more vascular. > > 2) Saliva testing is better than blood testing due to the fact that saliva testing is better for measuring tissue concentrations of testosterone as opposed to blood levels which depend on the lab processing the samples accurately. >
