Guest guest
I am 40 yrs of age and have been on TRT over two years. I've posted a few times before and received great information from Phil and others. I just had my regular Dr. appt. I told my Doc I have felt better the past two years than perhaps the past 8 or 10 years. My Doc is not up on TRT as mentioned before so I self treat to control E2 with DIM and ZMA. I do 200mg T injections per week at the Dr. office. I mentioned to him I could do them at home and do smaller injections more frequently. He looked at me like I was crazy and said it was best to continue like we were doing. I'm just glad I found my problem of low T after several years and I am getting TRT. I don't know my E2 level but I can feel when it goes high or low. I educate my self from this group and the internet and listen to my body. I feel so much better! Energy, self-wellness, lost weight, toning up, good blood pressure and good wood at night and mornings. In the beginning of my symptoms, I had the common side effects of low T. Since my TRT, just about everything has improved. I use to have a " brain fog " or a " haze " all the time. Matter of fact, I've not had a " fog " in a long time. But I still have short term memory and it is hard to memorize things. I notice it often because I play guitar and sing in a band. I also read. I've read about sleep apnea, CPAP. My Doc wants me to do the sleep apnea test in early February. I'm actually willing to do it. But my concern is my problems with my short term memory. Any one have any ideas or comments that might be helpful? Thanks, Dan
Guest guest
Dan there are a lot of things that can do this age is one but you need to test your Adrenals and Thyroid this is one big problem from this and your Ferritin levels if your Iron is low you will have this problem. http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/adrenal-fatigue/ It is good to here your feeling better but doing 200 mgs a week in one shot will stress your Adrenals. Some how you need to get to do your own shots and break them up to 2x's a week. This is a lot of T all at once every week. I do this much because I eat it up as fast as I take it and I do 80 mgs every 3 days and 250 IU's of HCG the 2 days each in between my T shots this keeps my blood thinner and holds down my Estradiol levels. I got this from Dr. Shippen he dose this to his self but subQ my Dr. let me do this but IM. http://forum.mesomorphosis.com/441001-post7.html Co-Moderator Phil > From: Dan Lee <nvestnyuth@...> > Subject: feeln' good/poor memory > > Date: Saturday, January 23, 2010, 12:03 AM > I am 40 yrs of age and have been on > TRT over two years.
