Guest guest
Phil & others, I'm trying to figure why my T level is up? Quick run-down: I've been on TRT for 3 years or so. Just turned 41. I've had great results after the first few months of getting levels right (roller coaster ride in the beginning). My Doc has had me do labs every 2 to 3 months. My current regimen is weekly T injections of 200mg's, ZMA nightly, and DIM w/Indolplex. Nearly 2 months ago I tried Arimidex and stopped the DIM. In my first attempt in taking .25mg tab, I received a T injection just before taking the arimidex. Three days later I took another .25mg tab. I listened to my body and felt like it brought my E2 too low (did not have a E2 test). I feel this because I lost night time erections and stiffness after the second arimidex tablet for nearly two weeks. After that, the erections came back like before. In trying to find my " sweet spot " , I once again had a T injection and took a ..25mg arimidex tab on 6-11-10. Exactly seven days later, I went in for my lab work on 6-18-10. My recent numbers from labs on 6-18-10: Testosterone Total 960.69 350-890 ng/dl high testosterone % Free 3.0 1.6-2.9 high Testosterone Free 292.0 47.0-244.0 pg/ml high SHBG 19 13-71 nmol/L So since my levels are high, guess what my Doc did? He had his nurse call me and tell me not to come in this week for my T shot. She said to wait until next week to come in. And the Doc is going to re-test in 3 weeks. (Not pleased by the way! I'm o.k with a re-test but not going every other week for a shot.) The big question: Could the arimidex caused my T level to remain high over that 7 days? In the past, my T levels climb to around 1300 and drop down in the 400's over 7 days. I will add that my Doc does not know I took the arimidex. This is the first time I've taken it. I've shared before that he is not up on TRT. Sorry for the length of the post, Dan
