Guest guest
Don your cortisol levels are way to low for a morning test now you need to do a 4x's in a day Saliva test to see what your rithum looks like. Most Dr.'s even mine did this to men when I did a morning blood test what they are looking for is 's where your cortisol levels are below the normal range and this can kill you. What you have is called Adrenal Insufficiency. And most people with this problem have low DHEA levels. Here is a link that talks about this and has a FAQ's link in it. In this link you will find a 4x's in a day Saliva test you can buy your self and do. Get this post it when you get it back. My Dr. would not give me Cortef HC meds for this so I asked if I could try Isocort it's sheep glans that 8 pills = 20 mgs of cortisol you can read about it in the FAQ's. When he seen how much better I felt on this he then gave me cortef HC meds. http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/adrenal-fatigue/ In this link it shows you the stages of this problem. http://www.chronicfatigue.org/ASI%201%20.html Here is a good link with tests you can buy about this. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/ Co-Moderator Phil > From: Don <dbeaton1234@...> > Subject: DHEA Sulfate and morning AM Cortisol levels > " " < > > Date: Tuesday, November 16, 2010, 1:46 PM > Just got lab results back on DHEA and > morning Cortisol; here are the #'s. > > 10/29/10 > DHEA 44 Low 45-345 > AM Cortisol blood drawn at 9:00AM 9.7 range 4-22.0 > > 10/1/10 > AM Cortisol blood drawn at 8:58AM 7.5 range 4-22.0 > > I've read somewhere the morning Cortisol levels need to > over 15; Endo says they are low normal, but still normal > range.
