Why waste your time with him he is a Dr. but not up on his math. Read this link

Mine told me that my number at 345 was normal. I replied that the Cleveland

Clinic recommends TRT at any level below 350, and also that the most

conservative recommendation I could find on any legitimate medical web site

was that anything between 250-350 should be investigating and the cause

determined. I also pointed out that 350 would put me in the bottom 10th

percentile for my age.

Then I reminded him of my clinical symptoms, and told him that I was open to

another diagnosis if he could think of another one which fit my symptoms.

I find that being reasonable, and asking an MD what the alternative

diagnoses might be puts them on the spot. It makes it clear that you are not

going to accept doing nothing as a course of treatment.

He ordered the injections.

Good for you some times when you sound like you know what your talking about

they give in. Dr.'s don't like giving Testosterone mens to men they feel it is

a steroid used in excess by body builders and such and don't want the lime light

on them.

Yeah, that is why I figure he seems reluctant to let me inject myself. What

if I were to sell it for $200 on the black market, instead of using it on

myself?

My point was that we live in a paranoid world, but I understand why

physicians are cautious when they don't really know someone.
