Guest guest
Brett it might be that what your feeling is going down to low. I get some bad ED can't get it up taking a pill going to low and my joints hurt and click. So I gage my levels by my night time and morning wood I would have started like you did doing .25 mgs everyday. If you get some good strong night time and morning wood as your levels came down this means your at your best level. I keep taking that dose but if wood stops it means I am going down to low so I just stop the Arimidex until wood comes back that morning I go back on the Arimidex but take less like every 2 days. I my wood stops again I do the same thing and when I go back on it with the wood comes back I do it every 3 days some men need to do this every 5 days. If your having sore joints now and don't have any wood stop taking it until you get some wood then go back on it and try less. Guest guest
Phil, No I am not having any problems with wood it's good. So I am pretty sure that my estradiol hasn't gone to low. I am pretty sure it is just typical Arimidex side effects. I just wasn't expecting to have them with the low dose that we men take. I may be more prone to have them anyway as I have back and leg pain anyway do to back problems for which I am taking morphine. I was wanting to tough it out until my next lab to see what it has done to the estradiol but last night I should have had another does but I skipped it. Despite what good it may do for the estradiol something that makes me hurt this much can't be a good thing for me. I am surprised that other men haven had a problem. We have a woman friend who had to take this for breast cancer and of course she was taking a whole 1mg tablet. She was pretty down on it for causing her a lot of joint pain and problems but I just wasn't expecting it on the lower dose. If you were having joint pain and problems when you went to low it may have been the Arimidex itself that caused your joint pain because that is one of the things it does. Guest guest
If you have good wood your not to low it's the Arimidex you can try Indolplex/DIM this is a supplement sold over the counter works good for most men. =================================================== ALL ABOUT DIM. Sure here is a few links that are all about it. But there are a lot of Co.'s out there selling DIM that don't work well. Indolplex/DIM is the best it dose not get killed in your stomach when you take it. Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a stable indole found in cruciferous vegetables which promotes a beneficial estrogen metabolism in both women and men. http://www.dimfaq.com/index.htm in this link it's full of links about it. http://qualitycounts.com/fpdim.html http://www.jbc.org/content/278/23/21136.full If you have DIM in caps it's not Indolplex so to take this and to get it to work open the cap pore the DIM into a spoon add some Olive oil and take it this helps to keep it from getting killed in your stomach. The following is some links to where you can buy Indolplex/DIM. http://www.vitaglo.com/e5336.html http://www.vitacost.com/EnzymaticTherapyEstroBalancewithDIM/searchby-PN/searchte\ xt-dim http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 http://www.estrobalance.net/ http://www.easyhealthzone.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=PP0108 & click=71 http://www.nbizz.com/longevityclinic/listings/213.html http://www.drugnatural.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Store_Code=DMOS & Product_\ Code=156497 http://www.smartbomb.com/itindo9.html?utm_source=mercent & utm_medium=shopcompare & \ utm_content=itindo9 & utm_campaign=mbsdb & mr:trackingCode=C6AEFBD1-E681-DE11-B7F3-0\ 019B9C043EB & mr:referralID=NA http://www.ritecare.com/cgi-bin/cart.pl?db=product_db.dat & category=natural+medic\ ine & method=any_words & search=iti-75336 http://www.naturamart.com/phytopharmica-pms-formula-with-indoplex-120-caps.html How to take Indolplex/DIM take one tablet 120 mgs at dinner time it can take 2 weeks to 2 months to get your Estradiol levels down it’s all about how high you are in your levels. What you need to do is get this down to about 20 pg/ml. When you get this low your night time and morning wood will come back so strong it will wake you up this means most of the time your at your best levels or what I call the sweet spot. Keep taking the DIM but if your wood stops your going down to low so just stop taking it. The day your wood comes back go back on the DIM but cut the tablet in half. If your Testosterone was tested and low but your not on TRT get it tested again you might find your levels came up some 200 to 300 points. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 Co-Moderator Phil > > > From: Brett Savage <brshop@...> > > Subject: Arimidex side efects? > > > > Date: Thursday, April 29, 2010, 10:27 PM > > Hello, > > Has anyone besides me been bothered enough by > > Arimidex side effects enough to stop taking it? Guest guest
If I may jump in here; I have chronic back pain. The first time I used TRT my back pain went from an 8 to a 1 - overnight! After a few days it slowly started to get back up towards an 8 again. On a forum somewhere I read that one of teh symptoms of low Estrogen is jpint pain. So, for my next shot, I doubled-up the dose and voila, my back pain was much better (from a 7 to a 2). However. same as before, it staretd to go bac up. My conclusion is that higher Estrogen helps joints, but of course, you have the drawbacks of higher Estrogen. I don't know if there is a " happy medium " where you would get some relief while not having the E too high. Maybe a doc can weigh in on this. Guest guest
My understanding, My rhuem. want my T at the upper end of the normal level because it has a direct relationship with the inflamation my body is creating. If my numbers are in the 800 to 900 range my inflamation markers are in the mid normal levels, when my t is in the 200-300 range my inflamation markers are in the 16-20 range. When i started T my level was 100 my inflamation was 36. So The type of arthritis I have actually is the cause of my T levels. It is rare but does exist. I've been fortunate to have a Rhuem Dr that understand and is supportive of higher Tlevel and this give me ammo for my urologist. That's what is happening in my case with joint pain and T levels. > > > From: Brett Savage <brshop@... com> > > Subject: Arimidex side efects? > > > > Date: Thursday, April 29, 2010, 10:27 PM > > Hello, > > Has anyone besides me been bothered enough by > > Arimidex side effects enough to stop taking it? Guest guest
Ah... good that you know what causes the pain and hopefully you can alleviate some of it. ________________________________ From: greytax <no_reply > Sent: Fri, April 30, 2010 4:56:31 PM Subject: Re: Arimidex side efects? Guest guest
You need to test your Estradiol levels when you having this pain to tell. It's not hard to control Estradiol on TRT you just need to be able to read your body. I have the same problem with my back I am sitting on a heating pad right now. But my Problem with Estradiol going down is not as big a problem as it being to high. When my Estradiol levels fall to low taking Arimidex my back and knees hurt but time. Guest guest
And I feel he is right I broke my left arm with I was a kid it was my elbow and needed sugary to fix it. I never had pain in it until my T levels went down. But the problem with this is not many Dr.'s know this about low T. In my case I don't feel it's the arthritis I am now 66 but I do feel low T levels aggravate ones arthritis or old injury's.
