Re: New with questions. - - Too Much T?

Hi Guys,

I have been wondering about this same question. How much T is to much?

I was doing either 80 - 100 mg every 4 days. I feel better on the 100 mg

(.50ml or 1/2cc). Remember a weeks or two ago I was complaining about lack

of feeling during sex and taking forever to finish? To experiment I tried

same dose 100mg only every 3 days and guess what? Feeling is back! That

little extra seemed to be what I needed. So what to do? Is anyone else

finding out that they need a little bit more to feel good? So far my PA

has let me do what I think I need to within reason but I am switching to a

DO as my primary doctor next month. He is supposed to be more experienced in

TRT. I am wondering, is he is going to think I am taking too much? Or if

my next labs will come out to high? Last total T was 800 something on the

4th day before my shot so that is still picking up the T from the previous

shot. I really appreciate Phil's hard work in answering e-mails on this

list and his story that he has shared but I would also like to hear from

some of the rest of you guys what your experience has been with this issue.

How much is too much for you? What problems or complications did you run

into with a little bit more? Does body size and weight make a diferance in

how much T each man needs?

Hi Brett,

I was doing 1cc of 200mg/ml every 15days and my levels were at 700s and feel

good. Now I am doing .65cc of 200mg/ml every 10days with 250iu of HCG a day for

two days before my next shot. I am 38 yrs old and this is working good for me so

far. I take DIM for my Estradoil.

Hope this helps.

Hi Joe,

Just curious, if you felt good on the 15 days why did you switch to the 10

days schedule or was that when you added the CHG.. By the way I forgot to

mentioned I am 55. I started on the 200mg every two weeks but by the 6th

day I was having big trouble. I toughed it out to the 8th day before we ,

the wife and I decided this two week deal just wasn't going to work.

Thanks for your input. Brett

Some men need more T I am one of them I eat it up as fast as I take it. So what

worked for me was doing shots every 3 days 80 mgs and I do HCG on the day before

my next shot.

As for how your feeling on this higher dose Dr. says when you change your

dose or you first go on TRT what your feeling is do to the change in your

Hormones levels and the way your body is reacting to this change. So after your

body adjusts to this change most end up back to were they were.

It is best to start low and work your way up slow. To much Testosterone will

drive up your Estradiol levels and can stress out your Adrenals and give you low

Cortisol levels along with a thicker blood.

The trick to all of this is to feel your best at the lower amount of TRT.

Hi Brett,

The very first time the doc put me on 200mg/ml every 15days (last yr). And my T

levels were high ....in 800s but my total T was way high and out of range. So my

Endo put me on 100 mg/ml and my T levels were in 400s. I used to test on the 7th

day after the injection.

After knowing about this group I came to know a lot of things. That GOD I found

this. Also thanks Phil and others ! I was not given any armidex or dim by my

Endo. This worked for a couple of months I guess and later what I found is

.......... I never had this roller coster effect with these 15day shots like

others do and also I dont have any wood at all the first week. That being said,

I never had erection problems or performance problems and it used to be good but

only No wood day or night.

So I was happy with the 15days 1 cc of 200mg/ml shots. And ...at the end of 15

days I used to feel week in my knees and pain in the legs .... like no energy at

all in the legs ...etc. When I asked Phil, he told me that my Estrodiol levels

would have been high so " no wood " and also the knee pain etc. And when I got my

E2 checked .........its way above 100 which is extremely high. So to keep my E2

levels down .... I want to take low dosage shots and frequently.

What all I am worried about is ..... I am 38 yrs old and with weekly shots 1 T +

2 Hcg shots ... I may scar my whole body muscles with these many shots and then

what .........? I have to look for areas where there is a lot of pain or unusual

injection sites. That's my main concern. So I try to keep my number of shots

low.

Sometimes I hope with the advancement of science and medicine may be things will

change in the future and we all may not have to take injections any more but

better ways of drug administration like nasal spray or oral or a better kind of

transdermal ..... or what ever.

Actually there is an injection called " Nibido " which they say that we need only

1 shot for 3 months but its not yet stabilized.

So ... as everybody is different ... the way body reacts is also different and

.... age, body weight, other health issues etc ... all together have an effect on

how well your body takes in T. So every one needs to test out different dosages

and different time periods and one day you will get to a point which Phil calls

" the sweet spot " . Until then .... you may need to try and retry and also check

your E2 levels and gauge your wood.

Hope this helps.
