Guest guest
That is why you feel so bad low Testosterone I am not sure about your Estradiol you look like your up in the range but with your range what would equal 20 pg/ml. Guest guest
Well I had low testo before starting TRT too, even lower in fact. And I felt better than, so.... Maybe it's just the high E2? What is strange, with what You're saying, is that: I felt better when I STOPPED taking testosterone gel - Which means I felt better going lower on testosterone! I don't get anything. I will send these results to Hertoghe and hear what he has to say. Missed calling him today. Wish it wasn't so expensive. > From: <gibcast@...> > Subject: New hormone labs in! > " " < > > Date: Thursday, September 16, 2010, 10:16 AM > After being off 2 pumps of compounded > Testosterone gel daily for 4 weeks, 2 pumps which contains a > total of 400 mg Testosterone, I got the following results: > > S-Testosterone: 15.1 (8 - 35) > S-Free Testosterone: 8.4 (3.0 - 14.7) > S-Dehydrodestosterone: In progress > S-FSH: 1.4 (1 - 12) > S-LH: 2.8 (1 > S-DHEA-Sulfate: 7.1 (1.6 - 12) > S-DHEA: In progress > S-Progesteron: 1.0 (<3) > S-SHBG: 18 (8 - 60) > S-Estradiol: 0.12 (0.06 - 0.14) > S-Kortisol: 447 (138 - 690 nmol/l)Â > > Sendt fra min iPhone > > > Â Â Â > > > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
Here are the labs again, with specified measurement method: TOTAL-FASTING TEST, 10th of September 2010: S-Testosterone: 15.1 (8 - 35 nmol/l) - No Testosterone gel for 4 weeks at blood draw! S-Free Testosterone Index: 8.4 (3.0 - 14.7) S-Dehydrotestosterone: In progress S-FSH: 1.4 (1 - 12 IE/L) S-LH: 2.8 (1 - 12 IE/L) S-DHEA-Sulfate: 7.1 (1.6 - 12) - While being on 35 mg DHEA every other day for about 2 months, and taking 35 mg DHEA every day for 7 days before this test was done. I did not take DHEA in the evening the night before the blood draw. S-DHEA: In progress S-Progesteron: 1.0 (<3 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 18 (8 - 60 nmol/l) S-Estradiol: 0.12 (0.06 - 0.14 nmol/l) - Too high? S-Cortisol: 447 (138 - 690 nmol/l) - I did NOT take HC before the blood draw! - I sent that to Hertoghe! Anyway, isn't there a converter or something that we can use for things like these, online? Nevertheless, looks like testosterone is a bit too low while off the gel. So I started the gel 7 days ago. I am looking at my LOGS and they say that: 1.) after doubling DHEA I got lower temps for 2-3 days, more weakness and overall a more sleepy feeling in me. I also developed the horrible " eye-lagging " symptom after taking 35 mg DHEA every day for exactly 6 days. I was on 35 mg DHEA every OTHER day prior to this. 2.) after starting TRT again, 7 days ago, I also developed symptoms like: pressure in the head, headaches, " icing-feeling " on the top of my head, and MUCH worse sleepiness/tiredness symptoms, like I wanna sleep ALL the time. Now we can figure.. What did what? DHEA or TESTO? > From: <gibcast@...> > Subject: New hormone labs in! > " " < > > Date: Thursday, September 16, 2010, 10:16 AM > After being off 2 pumps of compounded > Testosterone gel daily for 4 weeks, 2 pumps which contains a > total of 400 mg Testosterone, I got the following results: > > S-Testosterone: 15.1 (8 - 35) > S-Free Testosterone: 8.4 (3.0 - 14.7) > S-Dehydrodestosterone: In progress > S-FSH: 1.4 (1 - 12) > S-LH: 2.8 (1 > S-DHEA-Sulfate: 7.1 (1.6 - 12) > S-DHEA: In progress > S-Progesteron: 1.0 (<3) > S-SHBG: 18 (8 - 60) > S-Estradiol: 0.12 (0.06 - 0.14) > S-Kortisol: 447 (138 - 690 nmol/l)Â > > Sendt fra min iPhone > > > Â Â Â > > > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
It is a fact if you lower your dose of Testosteron your Estradiol levels can go down. Dr.'s not up on this will tell men to lower there dose of testosterone meds to lower there Estradiol. This is good if they were on to much testosteone and there Total T levels were very high. But fot them men that were not to high lowing there T dose did lower there Estraidol but in time they started to feel like crap from the low T. When I first got tested for low T I was very low 120 yrs my sex life was great. But my fatigue was very bad with Brain Fog, Feelings of Depression with Panic Attacks I was so bad I could not work. Your T cream or gel might be to strong for you and it was making your blood to thick. Your back on it but doing less so now give it time to get your levels back see how you feel then. Guest guest
I don't know but I feel DHEA is not as inportant as Testosterone. I would try stoping the DHEA only this and see how you feel. I did this and my wife did it and we both felt better. Guys at Dr. 's forum are now trying DHEA cream. When I was on Compounded Testosterone they put DHEA in the cream I never had a problem on that. Guest guest
The only time my sex life has been bad like EVER, was in the last few weeks of taking 2 pumps daily (400 mg testosterone). I was like...... BLAH!!! Nothing worked. NOW things are good again, with the libido and erections and everything! We'll see how that goes. I was looking at my logs again and... I guess I can't trust the labs if I didn't do them food/drink-fasting? SO I've started to do ALL labs 100% fasting from EVERYTHING!!! To get 'em right. I started this 2 weeks ago only. Ok let's see how testosterone has progressed this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TESTOSTERONE STORY, 2010: 7th of January 2010: PRE-Testo gel and PRE-DHEA. I was only on T3 and HC at the time.S-Testosterone 10.6 (8 - 35) Estradiol 0.06 (0.06 - 0.14) - SEE? This is how it SHOULD be I guess! LOW RANGE! 16th of March 2010: DHEA START. 35 mg daily.28th of March 2010: TESTOSTERONE GEL START. 1 pump daily (200 mg testo daily)31st of May 2010: UPPED TESTO TO 2 PUMPS DAILY! (400 mg testo daily) 8th of April 2010: Free Testosterone Index 7.7 (3.0 - 14.7) S-Testosterone 14.6 (8 - 35) SHBG 19 (8 - 60) Prolactin 161 (?) 30th of April 2010:S-Testosterone 22 (8 - 35) PS! I did apply 100 mg testo to my SHOULDERS _before_ draw! 26th of August 2010: (Fasting, minus plain water and HC!) FSH 1.9 (<12,0 IE/l) LH 4.2 (<12,0 IE/l) S-Testosterone 9.4 (8,0 - 35,0 nmol/l) - 12 days after I STOPPED the 2 pumps of Testo gel! 10th of September 2010 (the results you've seen already, posted today below!): S-Testosterone: 15.1 (8 - 35 nmol/l) - No Testosterone gel for 4 weeks at blood draw! Testosterone has increased while OFF the gel. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN??? So that was what I could dig up from my log! What do you think Phil? What is your opinion on my Testosterone story from January 2010 til today? Keep in mind I've been undermedicated with Thyroid meds for 2 1/2 years, so that's a reason ALONE why Testosterone could get low. HC also lowers Testosterone, I've heard!?!? > > > > > From: <gibcast@...> > > > Subject: New hormone labs in! > > > " " > < > > > > Date: Thursday, September 16, 2010, 10:16 AM > > > After being off 2 pumps of compounded > > > Testosterone gel daily for 4 weeks, 2 pumps which > contains a > > > total of 400 mg Testosterone, I got the following > results: > > > > > > S-Testosterone: 15.1 (8 - 35) > > > S-Free Testosterone: 8.4 (3.0 - 14.7) > > > S-Dehydrodestosterone: In progress > > > S-FSH: 1.4 (1 - 12) > > > S-LH: 2.8 (1 > > > S-DHEA-Sulfate: 7.1 (1.6 - 12) > > > S-DHEA: In progress > > > S-Progesteron: 1.0 (<3) > > > S-SHBG: 18 (8 - 60) > > > S-Estradiol: 0.12 (0.06 - 0.14) > > > S-Kortisol: 447 (138 - 690 nmol/l)Â > > > > > > Sendt fra min iPhone > > > > > > > > > Â Â Â > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > >

Guest guest
I've never been low on Growth Hormone, actually it was never tested. However we've tested IGF-1 and IGFBP-3, and Hertoghe says IGFBP-3 is too high in ratio to IGF-1, so IGF-1 cannot be used properly in my body. So he wants to start me on IGF-1 (Growth Hormone, " Omnitrope " pen!) 0.05 mg every evening, going up 0.05 mg every 10 days, til I reach 0.25 mg daily. For the rest of my life, he says. Maybe we need to adjust the dose, but he says " we probably need to reduce Thyroid when you start GH! " . What do you think of the S-Testosterone levels I pposted below Phil? Like, how it went up and down according to the changes I did with the meds? As for GH he shoulds like he is better at dosing this then my Dr. my Dr. started me on .3 mgs I did this for 5 months having problems the longer I was on it. And yes I had to stop my Thyroid meds on this. Then my body started to hold a lot of water and my hands and feet went numb. So he took me off the GH but in a month he put me back on it at .15 mgs.
