Guest guest
I have a conflicting information from two separate docs. One is a thyroid expert and the other an adrenal/anti-aging specialist. I spoke to them both about dosing the compounded cream. The doc prescribed 100mg/1 ml 2x daily. The AA specialist strongly believes that is too high to start any patient due to crashing effects 2 mos down the road. He would rather start at 10mg flat daily. I read on a couple of sites the cream is only 10% absorbed which brings down to 10 mg. What is the consensus on this topic here? About the iodine. I did a home tincture test which is simply drawing a 3 in square on your arm. Supposedly if it's gone within 24 hrs you are deficient. However, I have also read this is a bogus test b/c the iodine evaporates naturally. I have done the test twice and both times gone. What says people here, should I just get the blood test done?
