Guest guest
Long story short, I've felt like crap for a couple years now. Sex is not even of interest and isn't happening when I " give in " . Memory is shot, sleep after every meal regardless of diet (I can stay awake, but it is a monumental task!), cannot focus, sleep sucks, I'm an empotional wreck and the list goes on. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my left testicle, which has always been my big one, has gone from slightly smaller than a golfball to half that size. It is now the size of a marble. I contacted the doc and told him I wanted tests run. I am however very confused by the sheer number of various numbers out there and nothing that really explains everything. The doc had the labs do both urine and blood and I ended up with Albumin, Microalbumin UR QN, total testosterone, SHBG, Total Protein, Globulin, Creatine urine, Microalbumin/Creatine. The total test is withing the labs " normal " range, which I relize does not mean anything, and I found a calculator to get the Free Testosterone and BioAvailable Testosterone. The problem is there is too much data (at least in my current state of mind) that I can't find what all these numbers mean when put together. Those tests just posted on Saturday (today) so I don't expect to hear from my doc until Monday or later in the week. However, I like to have my own external sources so I can understand or call " FOUL " if warranted. Can someone point me to a website that has a more complete picture with numbers and what they mean and how they interact? As an example, my Creatine level has gone from 120something to 58 over the past 2 years, but what does that mean? How does that play into this whole thing? And my total test may be within acceptable but my SBGH is well over the labs limits. How does that play? And I find no reference to what " Normal " is for Free Test! I know I'm probably making myself crazy over this, but I figure some of the folks here may be able to point me to a good information source. Disclaimer, I know nobody here is a doctor (probably) and I know to see my physician, etc. I'm just trying to educate myself. If I don't learn about my health and trust the doctors, I deserve whatever outcome I get!
