Guest guest
Hi All, I'm pretty excited. Yesterday, my son (age 24, kleinfelters) had an appt. with our neurologist (who is his only dr. and he rx's testosterone injections for my son) Anyway, I took in the long list of labs that I wanted him to have done - Doctor was so open to it, I couldn't believe it. He wrote it on a prescription pad, rather than just checking one of the forms as I told him that we wouldn't be going to the lab in his building as I wanted to check our insurance coverage. There's a bit he missed and a little blank room on this paper so I intend to write a couple of things - here's what he wrote - what is the most important things that I am missing? Couple of funny things - I taught him the word " aromatize " and when he looked at the list, he said " wow, you're going to turn me into an endocrinologist " I told him about this forum and that doctors sometime posted, he thought it was great. Prolactin FSH LH Ferritin TSH Reverse T3 Estrodial B 12 progesterone DHEA Testosterone I know that I need to write " free " instead of just Testosterone. Is the correct term for E " sensitive " . I also want to write in Free T3 and Free T$. Also, wondering if there is anything that you can tell me best lab to go get work done, should I write in the codes for that particular lab? I don't know if his last lab - total testosterone result of 170 tells you anything, he didn't give me ranges - I didn't think that this level was important so I didn't ask. Thanks Loads, Pati
