Guest guest
You need to lower your TC more. DH started on 80 mg then lowered to 70, then 60, then 40, then 32, now on 20. I'm pretty sure his optimal dose is between 20-28; he'll get labs in a couple of weeks. But so far, he still gets wood on day 5 at this low dose. His worse symptom at 70 was the hot flashes and being red in the face all the time. We didn't know that was a symptom of high E. Also, as your E rises, it raises TBG (thyroid binding globulin), which binds up more of your free thyroid, making you more hypo on the same dose. Your symptoms are saying your dose is too high and you should lower it. That is also a whopper of a Synthroid dose. Are you getting decent conversion to T3 with just Synthroid? JMHO, Barb > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and feel worse by the day. I've had to lower my cyp dose from 100 a week to 70 a week because of elevated hct and hg. I take 100iu of hcg the day before I take my shot. I've also had to raise my synthroid from 250 to 275 daily because since starting trt my thyroid has become more sluggish. Anyway today I was at work and all of a sudden started feeling very hot and started sweating from head to toe and was nauseous and had anxiety as well. I get mood swings lately and feel depressed out of nowhere and for no reason. Does anybody have an opinion on what I should do? I'm pretty sure that my estrogen is also elevated even though I havent had e2 sensitive blood test. Thx in advance. >
Guest guest
Wow 20-28 a week??? I guess were all different. I'm thinking of lowering dose more but wanna be sure it's elevated estrogen. Is he on hcg as well? > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and feel worse by the day. I've had to lower my cyp dose from 100 a week to 70 a week because of elevated hct and hg. Guest guest
Yes, that was my point, you're all different, and I would not expect many to be functional at his low dose, but you all should know that not everyone needs 100/wk. But you certainly have room to lower some, and your symptoms are screaming overdose. The hot and sweaty is from high E, low thyroid causes depression, and low thyroid causes low cortisol which causes anxiety and nausea. And no, he is not on HCG, and that is also known to raise E. > > > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and feel worse by the day. Guest guest
Can you get high E 3 days after last shot? I though usually you would feel it next day after shot? > > > > > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and feel worse by the day. Guest guest
Actually T is supposed to peak in you about 3 days after your shot. It is when T is excessive that it overflows into E. So that is when I'd expect it to be highest! > > > > > > > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and feel worse by the day. Guest guest
Interesting thank you. Guest guest
Well you need to lower the TC or the HCG or both, but I'm not familiar with dosing HCG to advise you. Maybe someone else will pipe up? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and feel worse by the day. Guest guest
I feel it's your Estradiol levels you need to get this tested but most Dr.'s will not test this your Dr. has you on TRT and your posting this problem. If he was up on TRT he would be testing your Estradiol levels and keeping them down using Arimidex. Lowering your Test C levels is not a good idea you can crash and feel worse. If you can't get your Dr. to test this get some Indolplex/DIM it is a supplement sold OTC that will convert the bad E's into good E's so your liver can wash them out. Here is a link to a brand I know works there is a lot of junk DIM sold out there. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 Buy this if your Dr. will not test this and take one tablet at dinner time. It will take longer to get your levels down on this Arimidex works faster. When you get some strong night time and morning wood your at your best levels. You can drive your Estradiol levels to low when you do this your night time and morning wood will stop cold and taking Viagra will not get it up. When this happens just stop the DIM until your wood comes back that day go back on it but cut the tablet in half. If you have trouble doing this keep posting we can help you through this. Guest guest
When I first received the Arimidex, I followed Phil's dosing with a quarter tab every other day. After a couple of weeks, I noticed a decrease in " nighttime wood " so I cut back to a quarter tab twice a week. That didn't seem to improve the situation. Presently, I've stopped taking Arimidex altogether. So far, no nipple soreness, hot flashes, or any other indications of an increase in estrogen. Could it be that my body is so starved for testosterone that I am not converting an appreciable amount to estrogen? I've actually felt hornier since stopping the Arimidex. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 months now and > > > feel worse by the day. Guest guest
As you will note, I did stop the Arimidex altogether. Last week I added it back to my regime. However, I am trying a 1/4 tab every three days. So far this seems to be working fine. I've had some amazing wood for me lately. One time even in the middle of the day when I was fully functional and alert which usually gets in the way of success for me. I haven't noticed guys here talking about this, but there are psychological issues that play a huge role in getting successful erections. After a lifetime of sexual dysfunction, I know I have a lot of mental roadblocks to overcome. Let me just say that anytime I am able to get a totally hard erection, I am elated. I am taking this in baby steps really. I'm hoping each success breads more successful experiences. You might find this funny or pathetic, but for the first time in a very long time, I am starting to feel like I have some control over my sexual responses. When I say a very long time, I mean it has been decades. Although I have no doubt that a large portion of my sexual issues has to do with my psychological make-up and perhaps even childhood negative experiences. However, having just in the last year or so discovering that there is also a physical component to this has been liberating. I don't feel like I have to beat myself up so much for being less of a man sexually than I would like to be. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've been on TRT for 6 > > months now and > > > > > feel worse by the day.
